I don't think that AVG accurate ... my range from (7.7 to 9.1)

So I only count by amount of Fuel I pump full. Then divide by KM I used.

I've always get the impression that Alza have serious alignment problems... Does that mean chamber screws are a must...?

that day when i 1st sent for 1000km service i complaint to them the alignment is no good, always keep left...then they sent for alignment, after i took the car, i drive on LDP,terus u-turn go back and complaint, then they check again, now they tighten the lower arm and redo the alignment....baru ok....

Hey guys, with the XM2, now I can lower down my FC to 8.0-8.1L/100k. Previously I'm around 8.6-9.0, most of the time around 8.8L/100km. Amazing? Now I think I want to research into adding soft turbo. Give it more ummpphh...

which you now tempt me for new donuts.... WHEN THE HECK IS MY ALZA GONNA GET FIXED AND READY FOR COLLECTION....!!!! mad.gif

As for turbo, I'm still wondering why the Perodua-loaned MyVi 1.3l drives like a 2.4l (seriously) whereas my Alza 1.5l drives like a 1.0l slouch... doh.gif

Any ideas...? Throttle cable readjustment or ECU remapping...?

btw, are the XM2 a lot more quieter on all road conditions...?

I can only see the downside of 3 - 6 months of use. Coz dunno if kena small nails and get leakages between that period, cannot check ourselves, why...? Too long a period being too comfy with the idea of nitro on donuts, one days go outstation on high speed, leak until pressure too low, donut meletup, car go turtle... whistling.gif

I'd rather go check air pressure once a month just to be on safe side...

Ya, agree. That little nitrogen, how much can it help?!

So I did a calculation based on the difference in FC now with the new Xm2.
Previously avg 8.8L/100km, that means 42liters gives me around 477km.
Now if I assume my avg is 8.0L/100km, then it gives me around 520km.
520 - 477 = extra 43km, or 5.4 liter less (based on 8.0L/100km)
5.4l x $1.9 = $10.20 savings per 42 full tank pump each time
$10.20 x 45 weeks (cos I don't use up full tank every week) = $459 savings per year
Assuming XM2 can continue help me get more mileage even after 1 year's usage.

Assuming Silervstone M5 185/55R15 is $150/donut, x4 = $600.
I paid $900 for 4 XM2 tyres, so paid extra $300.

So if my XM2 do not perform, then most likely the extra $300 I paid to Michelin is just about the same savings I get back from better FC ie. comparing $459 savings versus $300 extra fr Michelin brand.

But, I get to enjoy XM2 for a short period of time lo, I guess that makes Silverstone less interesting, unless they priced it much lower than $150/donut. Anyway, just based on the markings on the tyre itself, this is a big difference:-
M5 treadwear = 240
XM2 treadwear = 420, manyak durable la!!

I didn't check what is CC5, but I heard from the tyre shop many customers complaint abt CC5, whereas no one complaint abt XM2.

For long distance drivers, I recommend 195/55R15. But Alza auto, no power la. 4 adults + 2 below 5 yrs old children.... i cannot reach 120kph on the new Latar highway, with 185/55R15.
