this thing happened to all cars.

it just noticeable or not.

For Alza, owners around got 3 kind.

1. Ignore it or not really notice it ... sweat.gif

2. Complaint kao kao at SC then until complaint Denso to change a compressor.
(this one not easy, need to have good contact from P2 & Denso to write a letter)

3. Install Voltage Stabiliser & Voltage capacitor. (good brand or imitation)

Me is number 3 but I only install a cap ayam VS + grounding cable. My case less a bit kick in sound during driving, less power dragging.

But some MAOC members' car install VS/ GC + Voltage capacitor really solve this issue. The air cond kick still there (normal) but not like dragging power of engine/ lights or sound sudden shock us.

I'm aiming for early next month coz this month too much commitment... rclxub.gif

Sides, my car now in SC, dunno whether can make it out of SC in time for my trip to Penang next month... grumble.gif

A lot of people says VS is a waste of money, and new cars won't benefit much as compared to old cars of more than 5 years. Care to prove them wrong...? brows.gif

Though I would love to see a VS rejuvenate my car which drives like my gf's 9-year old Kenari... doh.gif

My personal feel is VS will help with your battery. Even on a new car, your battery will not last you too long, so with VS it should help with the battery's life span. Less drain on battery, then longer life span.

OK, we have 8 biji of donuts. Who else?

Just DIY installed a Captor VS taken from my previous Saga before it was sold hopefully can give at least slight help on battery because it was really small NS40 even my saga 1.3 were using NS60 battery.

About the steering rack rust, i think perodua did something to rectify this by sticking some kind of patch maybe anti rust patch on the spot where the air cond water will drop onto but not duno how effective is it. Can i request SC to add a pipe on it to let it drop directly onto the ground?

Been driving my 3 days old Alza so far i can say this car was really nice to drive around the city. I'm happy with it.

Actually alza really is a good car on every new cars should have minor defects, no everything you buy in the world is prefectly made by human smile.gif
Even electronic items or devices also have defects.

But would you be satisfied when every minor defect may have something to do with risking safety of the drivers and their passengers....? And to fix these defects on warranty, are you willing to sacrifice your time sending your car back to SC for testing and repairs...?

Well I have, and right now it's my second time for a second major repair. My first major repair gets me out of reach of my car for over 5 weeks. I don't even wanna imagine how long this second repair will cost me. I've also lost count on how many days of leave taken out of my work just to get my car into SC for other tests and rectifications... doh.gif

Well, I don't agree with the price. Whether it should or should not come with any minor or major defects, the price is wrong.

me so far done 2 service only, 3rd service coming soon.

1st/ 2nd PJ agent & service center. so far okay. Will call back to follow up.

for the air cond kick in / off issue .. it is like that. Nothing much P2 will do about it unless your kick in shake the whole car sweat.gif

I installed a imitation Pivot Raizin VS + 5 point GC, then notice "a little" bit improve of engine smooth and "a little" air cond kick in improve. Really a little only .. but notice engine respond better few days later. As specially yesterday drive from NS - Tangkak - NS then back to KL.

after 1 week+ of test... this morning I decided to transfer the Pivot VS to my 2005 Iswara brows.gif .
Cause plan to get a better one since not so "noticeable" of improvement. The 5 point GC still installed with the Alza.

Just now .. shocking.gif

On the way to office and stop a few time at traffic light.. OH MY .. the air cond kick in / off so frequent until every kick in I'll notice it cry.gif

Actually it just back to ORIGINAL situation. But after 1 week with VS+GC I already use to "NOT SO Noticeable" air cond kick in and really see the different now doh.gif

** Just my personally experience sharing, with imitation VS+GC can't feel much improvement. But after test of 1 week and remove the VS .. then I know the different **

I had that for 2 instances dy... shook the whole car... this happens after a minute warm up and 2 minutes into driving with the fan turned on first, then air-cond... It gave out a loud farting sound... Perodua don't know what's the problem... doh.gif

you may try this, talk to the P2 manager get them to write letter and complaint to Denso. Denso check and check .. later change a compressor.

one of my friend did it. but he got contact at P2 lah sweat.gif

All Alza same using Denso compressor right????
