it is depend what is the max resolution both dvi/hdmi can produce. displayport can give max 2560x1600. assuming your display card has dvi/hdmi and displayport which can display 2560x1600, then you can use the biggest screen with biggest resolution, like 30" 2560x1600 x3, assuming that costs is not an issue to you wink.gif

or you can have 2560x1600 screen x6 with firepro v9800 graphic card wink.gif connected via miniDP

What's the best monitor for gaming at 24" ?

So far i've been recommended the Dell U2412HM 24" LCD @ RM899. Any feedback on that ?

What type of gaming are you into? If you just a casual gamer with no need of hardcore response speed then that model is fine, otherwise any 2ms monitor is for you, especially those 3D monitor which has 120Hz refresh rate when not using the 3D mode. wink.gif

Desktop however is slightly slower to adapt to this technology but I can be sure that next year is probably the year that next gen of display will start to coming into the market.  hmm.gif Well... Intel already has the road map for the display technology, even the 13" has 1080p... nice~ nod.gif
Even the biggest LCD TV on the market is still 1080p... if you look closely you can see the dot.

Well, have a look at this
http://www.apple.com/asia/macbook-pro/specs/
And be surprise (for a bit), Apple just packed 2880 by 1800 into a 15" display, much bigger than current 30" display, the trend is already begun. thumbup.gif

I'm using a Dell U2311H which has similar specs and I don't see anything wrong with FPS games. Tried Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 no problem smile.gif

Hi guys. What kind of brand/model do u guys recommend if i want to opt for LCD monitor(20 - 23 inches - any size in that range), with full HD. Want good reliability and after sales service smile.gif Maybe DELL, samsung or asus better right?

Price range of course cheaper the better, but i dont mind paying a bit more for better warranty and quality. maybe rm 300 - rm 450?

What about DELL ST2220L 21.5 inches LCD? or is it better to add rm 50 to get 23" ST2320L(full hd)?

Dell is the better choice, could be slightly expensive than other offering but the after-sales-service is top-notch from all my experience and many post here so I would really recommend Dell. icon_rolleyes.gif
