QUOTE(arslow @ May 13 2012, 10:23 PM) u got ACTUALLY seen a 16:10 23 inch before?o.0 whats so rare? im using a HP 16:10 24' mon for many years alreadyI've never seen one lol. Even 24 inch 16: 10 also not that widespread. All also crappy 16:9 Added on May 16, 2012, 8:08 pm QUOTE(mohdazuan @ May 15 2012, 03:35 PM) ohh.. too bad. but 23" fullhd also nice. you can watch 1080p video without top and bottom horizontal black bar 1080p is already full hd. 1200p is super full hd? hahahabut i still like that black bar. thats why i grab 1200px. who knows in the future moviemaker will release 1200p dvd format This post has been edited by law1777: May 16 2012, 08:08 PM |

QUOTE(cybersans @ May 29 2012, 06:40 PM) it because its max resolution only 1920x1080. for 27" with that resolution, you may see large & stretch picture/video/desktop obviously u dunno much about gaming monitor? only full hd monitor can give 120mhz.. i only need full hd 1920 x 1080. no need for larger reso than thatdell 27" can go to 2560x1440. QUOTE(mohdazuan @ Jul 8 2012, 11:28 AM) most of 27" that you can find in local market are based on 16:9 format, which is full HD. you can see the difference by its resolutions: either using 1920x1080 or 2560x1440 or its refresh rate: either 60Hz or 120Hz. this size of monitor will has starting price around 2k (for a well known brand like dell, samsung, etc.) samsung 27' 16:9 1080p 120hz only around rm1750Added on July 9, 2012, 4:10 pmbut discontinued This post has been edited by law1777: Jul 9 2012, 04:10 PM |

QUOTE(Ips3Ds @ Jul 30 2012, 04:40 PM) I wonder why Samsung or Dell didnt make monitor with glass screen like Apple did. Samsung galaxy S III phone the LCD is super duper beautiful. samsung has glossy led lcd ok? try search on youtube.. linustechtips got reviewed a few of thembtw i've already ordered the HP x2301 ultra thin full hd led for RM562. this mon i saw at KK HP retail shop. its so clear and smooth demoing devil may cry Added on August 1, 2012, 7:28 pm QUOTE(chiangeg @ Aug 1 2012, 05:18 PM) Precisely because of 1080P has became a standard in entertainment industries, some game developers also exclude native support for 1920x1200 in their resolution implementation (to cut cost and save time?), thus have to play games in either stretched or black bars for those without native support. omg means my old 1920 x 1200 mon will have black bars playing GW2???For example Guild Wars 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlUBqU4cZAE "Thank you for contacting NCsoft Technical Support. At this time the Guild Wars 2 client does not have the option to set your resolution to 1920 x1200 and so if you try to play with your native resolution you may encounter the black bars or stretched video on your screen as seen in the video you provided. At this time we do not have any information on if and when this resolution will be supported. Please let us know if you have any additional questions in regards to this issue. Regards, Ashe NCsoft Technical Support" This post has been edited by law1777: Aug 1 2012, 07:28 PM |

QUOTE(chiangeg @ Aug 1 2012, 07:33 PM) Screen on Galaxy S1 , S2 and S3 is not LCD my HP w2408h(7years old) also very vivid and clear but poor black.. heheand Super Amoled is VERY EXPENSIVE to produce, few years ago 24-30inch OLED screen cost almost RM100000 and only few produced. But recently the OLED technology cheaper already, LG got produce TV using OLED. No more ghosting or viewing angle problem anymore Btw my 2 years old HP 2309M 23inch can produce very vivid color, but have poor contrast on dark area. I give it 9/10 for watching Korean drama Yes !!! .... see the youtube video |
