For me..change game(reset button-->reject buttton--->place game-->reset button for long time(it will reject IN auto)--->reset button(start game))

in the manual of ps2 slim
it said
reset>>open tray change disc>>close tray>>reset

when u reset the disc is still spinning right ?

to change disc...
i turn off the console (by holding the reset button few secs)
then open the cover and change
then turn it back on

or u all toking about ps2 fat ?
mine is slim

haih my 3k series cant read 2 games out of 10 ...im confused whether its a bad media copy?coz can read on 7k series instantly!!! blurrryyyy....& now 3k cannot read dvd movies ...not 2 watch dvd...but on occasionally.....

try tuning it.

According to SCPH 70006 manual :
Changing game discs
1. Open the disc cover and remove the disc.
When removing the disc, hold down the black center part of the disc holder and then lift the disc by the edges.

2. Insert new disc.

3. Close the disc cover and reset the console.
The new game will start.

Note
You do not need to turn off the console when changing games.

I guess that guy was rite.

Yea, same here.. i think i heard Djinn said its safer that way.. by turning it off.

Kinda weird... procedure below...

there, the contradiction.

you have to download the manual and really read it yourself, i think some got the information wrong, but there is a NOTE there, saying "No need to turn off power when changing disc" this prove enough... i think.

how difficult is it just to reset your ps2 to change games
whats the fuss....its not like you have to go to the main switch to do it

Reset wont change the game, it has to be done with you muscles.

LOL you people! i use a CD changer for swapping game discs MUAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHH!!~~!!!
