i think the heat produce by ps2 slim also connected wif wat kind game u play
i play game tat require little loading time it get little bit hot
when i play game require more loading time it got very hot

if ur playing game then
the game will be paused and show please insert ur controller

then i realease some button on my controller
than it come back to normal

is dis meaning my controller is spoiling or
