depends on the game. some ori games have anti mod protection. eg rugby 2006.

dear snipersnake, advised need my ps2 30001R recon unit last night die,not sure laser or mod chip (but my guess is laser ) , cdr hdloader cannot read, dvd movie cannot read, dvdgames cannot, did not come out the red screen ,browser screen only got the memory card image when put disk in got word reading disk one time only then nothing happen only the memory card image..... what's wrong ,can repair?
