when first start the system is juz press the restart button then the system will go to menu rite?
then after u insert the cd u juz press the eject button or press the restart button to start the first games?

just change however you want la..it wont damage your ps2 one la..my fat ps2 so long already use without proper ejecting also still working till now for almost almost 5 years

But slim is not like fat, if you use slim and accidentally drop it to the floor, the laser len might be spoil...

^ anyway..he was asking about proper way of turning your ps2 off.

i know slim are more fragile this and that..

lol from the 10screws....i only found 8....my console is a bit different as the pic in the guide....the 2 front screws i cant find em...so cannot open

reset i saw before la..not restart

erm, i'm usually just push the eject button and hit it back (the tray goes back) , then i "kick" the power button, finally the power switch at the back. (not slim version)
