Heyaz peeps!, I juz bought a PStwo slimline lately, so far it so good and all.. until i test the controllers vibration... weird.. firstly it "vibrates" (playing GT4), then the next time i tried it.. it doesnt "vibrate" anymore...

Btw, do anyone of u uses M7 modchip?.. it seems its not region-free for ori dvds...

Any ideas?...

Hey peeps!, my friend's PStwo recently cant detect any disc... later i found out it works when i 'press/hold down' the PStwo cover then i can hear the cd/dvd spins... and it works...

So i was wondering something its loose in there or wut?.. how to i fix that? or shld i say how to i tighten it?...

Anywayz, i kinda fix it oredi.. i juz pressed firmly down the tray area... in all corners..

And it works for few days liaoz... hopefully nuthin serious going there.. i was thinking something loose in there..

Imo, yers shld be Modbo modchip.. which i heard nowadays pstwo slimline will be using unlike last time its using Matrix Infinity clone modchip like NH9.

I tried comparing 2 PStwo slimline, one its M.I clone and the other its Modbo modchip.. imo, the u can identify by looking at the start-up when the "Playstation 2" words comes out when u switch-on yer PStwo.

If u have NH9 or M.I clone, when startup u can see/notice theres a small wording just below the "Playstation 2" words (Infinity v1.38), and for modbo version will looks like theres a grey box or sumtimes distorted look.

So far i noticed the difference and heres are my comparisions :-

-: M.I. clone can play any discs from PS2 games to PSone games w/o any steps like "press reset 2 times and etc like Modbo modchip needed to do those steps to able to play PSone games or DVD movies"

-: M.I. clone can play all DVD movies from "backups to original" wherelse Modbo modchip cant play original DVDs.

Btw, modbo modchip its based on wut original modchip ah?... like NH9 its based on M.I. rite?.

Hmmmz.. mabbe coz yers different batch?.. since most of us using 70006 / NTSC/J.

Coz i tried all my DVDs from original to backups, no probs (fyi im using 70006 NTSC/J with M.I clone).

Btw, abt the diodfix chip, i seen that when first i bought my PStwo, first its one of earlier batch. I remember the shopdude showing me 2 type of chips.. one its the modchip and the other i think he said supposed to limit voltage, isnt that layman-terms of diodfix chip?..

Yea, but i only do that when theres a game 'worthy' enough to have great replayability... unlike some games.. juz play once... its more than enough.. lol.. so not worth to burn into a good quality dvd-disc like mitsubishi, verbatim, ricoh and etc.

Yea, same here.. i think i heard Djinn said its safer that way.. by turning it off.

Kinda weird... procedure below...

Changing game discs
--------------------------
1. Open the disc cover and remove the disc.
When removing the disc, hold down the black center part of the disc holder and then lift the disc by the edges.

2. Insert new disc.

3. Close the disc cover (and reset the console <-- why need reset again?, coz once i put disc in, close cover, it will auto run the game).
The new game will start.
