Why not wait till the gov resume back the exempted hybrid tax rite? The cycle of Honda insight is barely 2 years and u were thinking of facelift? Come on be realistic sometimes..

Finished my first tank today. 410km for about rm60 of Ron95
about RM0.14 per KM... around 13km per liter not good enough

u need to learn how to drive it my first tank without traffic jam already RM10 for 100km lol with jam i think rm10 for 70km

our insight was launch in 2009. it came to malaysia late. end of next year, we be seeing insight facelift on sale.

So I assume u will be waiting for 2 years for the next facelift?

yes yes, noticed that during my trip cameron, but the ride is smoother when the battery is fully charged and the tendency on running 100% on battery alone is higher and longer period.

Added on September 13, 2011, 10:19 amguys, yesterday morning in Glenmarie, I saw a silver insight with the Grill as shown below, but the bumper is not the facelift design.

i wonder whether we can buy this grill in HC? i am very sure the silver insight is with this new grill.

My friend Driving an Insight cannot get 400km full tank. He must have a heavy right foot then

anyone survey on the K&N drop in filter? i check online the part number for the filter is 33-2433 (cross reference to honda filter 17220RBJ000) anyone can confirm our original filter is 17220RBJ000?

cruise at 40-50KM for 5-10 sec u will notice RPM drop to 1k and car fully on battery for few KM if driving on flat land and no traffic in front any breaking they car will disengage the full battery mode or so call full battery mode lol

yeah, whenever im not in hurry, i will do that to get the best milleage...especially during hiway cruise.
with this, u will see sudden increase in the Range km.

if i remember correctly, I managed to hold the fully battery run for almost 15-18secs.

hard to stay 40-50km on highway in real life

i remember trying to do that duringbreak in period and i even got horned by lorries behind on my way down to Malacca

hope u can keep yr eyes on the road and not be distracted by watching batt bar all the time - else later it will be a v expensive lesson for IN2 owners
