Bigger rims and lower prifile tyre naturally give more road surface contact and thus higher turning resistance. Because Insight is using an electric assisted power streering instead of the hydralic version driven by the internal combustion engine, it was not probably designed to drive the extra resistance of a different profile tyres and rims.

There is nothing much you can do as I do not think you can adjust or increase the assist power of the electric power steering. You can opt to slightly over-inflate the tyre and see how much that could help, but it will cause harder uncomfortable ride and probably more wear to the center thread of the tyre.

I wonder the extra resistance will cause more stress and wear to the standard electric assist power steering on the insight, as it was not originally designed for the extra turning resistance.

Did it help to reduce? After I fixed mine with Mugen visor, I felt wind noise is slight stronger. Anyway, I have no measurable standard for this, just feeling.

I had my visors removed eventually because I find it hard to clean my glass windows with the visor on, and I travelled frequently on trunk roads that are dusty (and muddy when rainfall). Besides, my double-sided tape (which was supposed to be original 3M that cost more than RM20 a roll) looks like about to fail too. I guess for a good stick, you will need an application of primer solution on the surface before sticking the doublesided tape.

For me, visor give the advantge of able to leave a small gap open on the windows when parked under hot sun so that the car does not turn into presurized hot oven when I get back in. I do not see any additional advantage actually as we probably always drive with aircond on in our hot humid climate. The problem with visor is that it is making windows cleaning task harder. Besides, it actually make viewable area of the windows (especially on the back windows) slightly smaller (the visor is actually very dark and cannot see through it). Finally, if your double sided tape application is problematic, your visor can turn into harmful projectile to vehicle behind or opposite you when travelling at high speed.

Shorty Pm me the below message:

Changing a double sided tape is recommended so that the product would stick better

But there is no guarantee on such product

If you think that we are at fault for it, no worries, drop by with your visor cleaned. and we will stick the 3m tape for u

thxs

The original sticky tape on the visor is not so good quality so shorty advised us to pay extra RM20 for a so called better quality tape which only stick few months. Obviously I wont travel to klang just for the tape unless you come down to cheras, but if you dont, there is nothing we can do.

Next time please be more specific when you want to sell something and charge extra.

I will use genuine 3M tape this time.

Hi Happyman, do note that, the visors are supposed to be installed with the brackets/hooks inside the rubber lining the window.. that's the proper way of installations.

Thing is, with all the oem/clone mugens, you may not be provided with the hooks in the 1st place.
Stickers will fail, sooner or later no matter which u use. Due to rain/heat. And when it fails and fly out, it's dangerous for other drivers/motorcycle users too..

This instruction set shows how the official mugen wing is supposed to be installed.
http://hybrid-eco.net/1h_insight/mugen_aero_wing.html

A friend of mine have his rear mugen done just sticked with dbl sided tape, and it's gaping already.. less than a month.

Official Honda visor installation guide, u can see the bracket is there ...

Each and everyone have their own limit in everything.

And I think we've reached our limit

To solve everything once and for all , those who have TOP UP and HONESTLY feel it is not worth the money. start out a list, we would return back 100% of the top up money to you guys.

So here's the list

1 ) Happyman

Frankly speaking, other than bro ahkam77 , those who came to our place to get it installed would never get such problem of door visor falling and etc. Due to the fact that we apply 3m chemical at both side of the door visor and also the body of the car.

So we are here for a long term business , so those who felt cheated cause of topping up , WE WILL PAY BACK 100% of the cost of the top up..

And I hope there would not be any other so called unsatisfactory .

Its the best we can do, and lessoned learned. Future sales will remove the double tape included ( cause its lousy ) but if we din remove, ppl will complain selling lousy stuff.

p.s when the wiper nut fall off, did anyone complain to Honda? or buy it from Honda?
*think about it and try putting yourself in our shoe*
