There was a JPJ road block just now when on the way to taman connaught from federal highway, and received notice to go to jpj inspection......now have to go through all the hassles to solve this......

Anyone with 3M tint crystalline 70 front and crystalline 50 side/back received notice to go for JPJ inspection before?

He just looked at it and asked me, then he said, ok I don't give summon, but I give notice so you go there for inspection, then he smile. I argue with him but he said he is doing his job only, then he asked me if I am Christian, I asked why then he said if Christian I can go jpj after Christmas, if Buddhist have to go for inspection by 23rd dec, otherwise they will send me summon....

Just came back from JPJ wangsa maju, the tint failed the test, it's 56% front and 36% side/back.

Then went to star blaze to remove the tint, go back JPJ to test again, 73% front and 71% side/back.

Tomorrow going back to starblaze to tint again.

Me also got problem with door visor before tis, install at his shop. Door visor he sell by default didnt come with good quality double tape. causing my door visor come off after few months.
Advice future buyer to remind him to use good quality of double tape b4 install.

I have the same problem too, i paid RM20 for the double sided tape, problem comes 2-3 months later.

it fit perfectly, but you just have to use another double sided tape... there should not be any bending the tip of the side step also..

Shorty Pm me the below message:

Changing a double sided tape is recommended so that the product would stick better

But there is no guarantee on such product

If you think that we are at fault for it, no worries, drop by with your visor cleaned. and we will stick the 3m tape for u

thxs

The original sticky tape on the visor is not so good quality so shorty advised us to pay extra RM20 for a so called better quality tape which only stick few months. Obviously I wont travel to klang just for the tape unless you come down to cheras, but if you dont, there is nothing we can do.

Next time please be more specific when you want to sell something and charge extra.

I will use genuine 3M tape this time.

Hello Shorty5, I am sorry to say that I think you have to responsible for the consequences of giving false facts/statements which constitute a misrepresentation of a product. The amount is small so you might think you are gonna get away with it. That is what many sellers do because normally nobody would make noise if a RM10, RM20 or RM30 products failed.

When you offer us the door visor, it already came with the tape, but you told everyone the tape is not good, and advised us to top up RM20 or RM30 for a better one. I asked you if it comes with brackets/screws and you said those are old tech, nobody use those anymore, now everybody use tape, remember? Now the so-called better one failed in such a short time. Then someone said it is because of the rain lah, heat lah, this lah, that lah, and use the brackets/hooks/screws is the proper way of installation lah....then what is the point of paying extra RM20 or RM30? To have the door visor stick few more weeks longer?

If you want us to think about it and put ourselves in your shoe, first you have to do the same before us.

I accept you offer and I will use the money from the refund to buy genuine 3M tape. I will PM you my bank account detail. Thanks and Happy CNY.
