jz bring along the warranty card in case any shit happens lol. even their technician oso cant assure u that they wont brick ur phone XD
*
i have been there once with my old omnia... they don't need my warranty card.. just check via their system then can know whether is under warranty or not... of cause.. better bring along the warranty card in case the shop didn't register for you ...

ya, i think i had that one... but if you can see the main/ first window (coz i think this is a pop up, right), then you can see your phone status is disconnected. i reached 100% a few times but the firmware update did not proceed coz no phone was detected.

u know why i sure, coz the battery monitor show me 55C, and the camera area is hotter than the battery as i remove the battery and compare it.

btw, i did send to Service Center on monday, they don have 2.3.4 yet, and the engineer told me is normal....aka design problem as the heat is from the main board but not the batt, he advice me to turn off the wifi and data while playing game....what a stupid workaround
*
The heat came from the processor NOT the battery. And the SGSII processor sits near the camera there. Like i said if below 55C then there's nothing to worry about. I manage go up to 58C for one full hour before and also no problem. But maybe if you brave, you can try go for 60C and see what happen. Don't forget to report the result :-)

my worry is... go to SC... the technician there say "Got new firmware meh? we have not gotten instructions yet. Please come back another day."
*
This +1. Especially those in my area. Ipoh. doh.gif

Theres a service center 15 minutes by walking though. Wouldn't hurt to check it out.

I guess I could check page 1... but going for some kind soul to add 1 post to this thread and let me know where I can find and download odin. I just hope odin is not command based. my typing sucks and I prefer gui. just click and click... ;-)

You have to shout at Thor first. Talk to Tyr and ask permission from Heimdhal before meet Odin. Ok.?

I'm using mercury white case..not bad for it's quality and design..However, as everyone know..white case is always getting yellowish after a while.. biggrin.gif
