Just wondering did anyone facing the problem of vitakraft shortage?? I been waiting for he past 2 months for petsmore to stock up their vitakraft but everyday when i call each by each outlets they give me the same answer "havent". It's been 2 months already & i really cant find much pets shop that sells vitakraft. My robo reli particular about his foods.. once its not vitakraft he'll not touch it.. Haha..

Hmm, i havent try that type of food for my robo. I saw this brand in Pet Lover center in sunway that day.

There's one brand which look like this vitakraft though.

Guys...I have a sad news...really sad one...

I'm going to move to a new house, and i cant keep that much hamsters, so i'm giving all of them away...anyone volunteer to adopt my hamsters?

I have winter whites n roborovskis.

@Ronald_loulan, sorry for the loss. u will be more lucky with babies next time. mine ate all her pups too during her first time being a mummy.

only last resort is prestige if i still dont find it soon

went to this pet shop today and was overjoyed when i saw supreme harry hamster for sale
checked the expiry date. DECEMBER 2011.
told the sales assistant. she told me "hamster tak apa punya makan expired food pun sama saja"
"boss akan bagi you 50 - 90% discount kalau nak"

remember to check expiry date guys as one pack of food will typically last our furry mates approx 50 to 70 days

^ maybe the shopkeepers are too busy to restock the food. after CNY maybe only they will restock them. u can ask them when they will restock their supplies, some will kindly tell u.
i agree that most ppl owes think that animals can eat expiry food. whatever that expires in the house goes to the dog bowl. doesn't surprised me to find the sale assistant saying that. if u really cant get them n u need it already, u may wanna try burp

personally i dont recommend burp.
its PLC's in house brand.. cheap.. and i heard the food a lot of colouring
if i cant find vitakraft and harry hamster, my 3rd choice will be prestige.
apparently got this brand called jr farm.
will try to find that too.

I thought burp was quite good. my hamster loves all da food there. I went to plc in singaore n they hv so many hamster goodies u cnt find in msia.

burp has more varieties in singapore cause plc is a bigger shop in singapore.

but even hamster lovers in singapore arent buying burp for their hamsters despite the wide range of variety.

they even prefer to purchase marukan than burp

I everyday handle hamsters , but they cant compare to my little one at home because he will come to me when i call him to come .

@the guy with dead robo babies , sorry to hear that. But u should have google on how to take care of the babies before doing anything.

BTW ; scary things happen in pet shop.. That day wanted to take out a ww , look behind the wheel got few hamster eating the friend... alot blood half body gone , can see intestines...

Try the petshop in sunway pyramid. i got my vitakraft from there few months ago. i was also finding...went to petsmore but theirs was going to expire soon...then went to sunway & found it...i think its new stock because expire date is quite long & i never see them selling vitakraft before.

^ i saw cannibals too at a petshop here in ipoh. half eaten body lying there. Syrian hamsters. so scary. Initially wanted to get a hamster then, but it totally turn me off and i didn't get one. Felt so bad that day.
