My hammy getting very chubby just like a meatball to me.. & he was kinda afraid when he notice there's a stranger in his cage.. Haha..

Ohh so soli to heard abt the pups.. hope the mother wont eat the pups anymore. Haha..my hammy more teruk.. he was the most picky 1.. everytime refill new foods for him he sure know 1 then gali gali & kick out all the green pallets just ate his favourite foods oli.. aiyoo those green pallets really doesnt eat at all.. now i got a whole packets contents just oli the green pallets that he kicks out..

Aww.. dun be sad.. take some time with your hammy even new friend need some time to be close rite? Let me share some of my tips with you. When i 1st brought my robo v oso unfamiliar with each others too.. beside he kept on running from me when ever i catch him. Let him familiar with his cage surroundings 1st then slowly slowly held him & let him familiar with your hands & smells but make sure to wash your hands if you handle foods before so he wont mistake it as a foods & bite your hands.

FIY, i very seldom give my hammy sunflower seeds cos it's very unhealthy for hammy. I usually give him once every week only so normally i'll crack the shells for him put it in my palm & slowly slowly put it infront of him. Once he smells it automatically he'll jump right to my palm & start eat it or you just hold the seeds & he'll straight away eat it at your hands. When i got free time i'll chat with my hammy too.. by that way it can let your hammy get used to your voice & smells. Sometime do play with him by catching him at your hands & just play play with him but dun play with him straight after he wake up it might piss him off. I normally help my hammy massage massage his back & he luv it very much.. Hahaha.. So just give some time for your hammy once he feel more confident i sure he will stick 2 u.. Just like my hammyi can easily catch him now lo =)

Ohh.. Tat cooling plate is an aluminum plate for hamster. It's work as a cooling bedding for hammy especially if your room got air-cond the cooling plate would be goody for hammy especially in this hot weather.. But even your room doesnt have air-cond oso the cooling plate still will feel bit cold for hammy.. My hammy love 2 sleep on it as it give cooling effect during evening for him.. Haha.. Erm it's not necessary for a hamster but i wan my hammy to sleep more comfortable oli.. Haha.. beside my cooling plate look like this :-

Yup.. That's hand-make cage.. Umm actually it just a carton box.. I though of buying cage for him but then cage have a limited space although it got few level with tube attached with it. So i take a carton box & customise it abit to become his cage.. Umm its not as nice as those fancy cage but at least it's open air & more open space for him to run here & there.. Haha..

I'm so sorry abt your hamsters although i'm not sure whats the problem is but i do hope your hammy is doing fine. Hope others sifu here can help u..

Help!!! I notice recently my robo hammy losing fur especially his both ears side.. others part is okay just the ears part.. Any hammy owner experinces the same problem??

Almost 1yr.. I scare it's a mites infection..

I dont think it's a mite either as i'm cleaning his cage at least once a week & wash his wheel & every single toys as well.. The ears part i can see his blood vessel quite obviously.. Is this normal?? But i didnt notice any increasing in sctraching on him & there is no white spot jumping around too..

I think it's normal my robo too very particular with his foods.. he will keep his food bowl as clean as he can unless after he was in the bathing sand & straight away went to eat den the food bowl will have some sand. Ohh.. u can shred some tissue for your robo to play with.. My robo love tissue very much.. Everytime when i shred some for him.. He will bite it & run around playing with it.. & sometime will just make a circle to become his nest & sleep.

Haha.. robo was quite the active type so at 1st they are not easily to be catch as they are not familiar with you. It take some time actually.. My robo was not easy to catch at 1st but then after a couple of time they will started to familiar with your smells & slowly u'll bond a relationship with ur hammy & automatically your hammy will noe u're the master. Now my hammy doesnt afraid of people anymore & he can easily to be catch.. He wont run away when u catch him.. He just will keep on stare at you & diam diam at your hands. That's why he was very popular among my bf family.. Haha everyone just love him. You might wanna need to catch him in a very gentle & slow way.. Dont do it in a rush you might scare them. Haha..inferno urs case abit difficult.. i have a cooling plate as well.. but my hammy love it so much from the 1st day i brought. I put it at outside.. Evening when he sleep he normally will stick to the cooling plate like glue while nite normally he'll sleep inside his house. I usually clean his cooling plate quite often cos he'll make dirty it. Sometime i put the cooling plate & bathing sand inside fridge a while after that will put back into his cage. He will be so fun playing with the bathing sand as it was cold.. haha..

Btw, i just wanna ask sifu at here.. Can robo hamster stand cold?? i mean if i open my air-cond 21°c can my robo stand the cool?? but usually i put his cage under my bed but i belief it's still cold..

Nope.. That cake was just a miniature fridge magnet cake that my bf brought for him. Haha..look quite real for me.. Aww..i wish it can be eat but unfortunately it cant but he seem to like that cake very much. Kept on looking & sniffing only but i took it out anyway might afraid he will bite on it as the plastic not sure safe anot. Oh.. what special treat that you give your hammy everytime his bday? Since this was his 1st bday didnt do much special tho.. just clean his cage.. buy that miniture cake for him to play.. Haha.. & also a little bit more sunflower seeds as usual only

As for your worm case y not consider give your hammy dry mealworms? But it's doesnt fresh as the alive 1 but at least you can less a fuss on the crawling worm.. Haha.. My hammy like to hide his foods inside his house but everytime when i wanna clean his cage he will know abt it & quickly store back inside his mouth pouch..

Haha.. thanks reila.. It took about 1hour plus just to capture that few photos. Seriously he just wont sit still. Haha.. pity my bf, he was the 1 who in charge of the arrangement while i'm the one who ready with my fingers on the button anytime just to capture the moments. It's not easy to get him near the cake with the 2 stranger fella beside the cake.. my bf pulak put some sunflower seeds on the cake.. He sniffs it & quickly ate the sunflower seeds that the time i capture those photos. Haha..

Oh yea.. Hello panda biscuit can be a treat as well.. y i nvr tot of that? Haha.. i have to buy biscuits treat at pet shop for him but its not dog biscuits. Never give my hammy try dog biscuits oso.. Haha.. dun noe he like it anot. I once buy a strawberry pallet 4 him as part of his treat.. He doesnt like it oso.. no touch at all.. Just sniffs & then runaway. There goes my whole packet money.. Haha..

Just wondering did anyone facing the problem of vitakraft shortage?? I been waiting for he past 2 months for petsmore to stock up their vitakraft but everyday when i call each by each outlets they give me the same answer "havent". It's been 2 months already & i really cant find much pets shop that sells vitakraft. My robo reli particular about his foods.. once its not vitakraft he'll not touch it.. Haha..

I'm gonna said thanks 2 u so so much 4 sharing the info 4 us. Today i went to the pet shop that u're working & i was almost jumped with joys when i saw vitakraft. Thank god my hammy no need starve to death anymore. Anyways grabs 2 packets of 1kg vitakraft..1 silent wheel..1 vitakraft fruit crossys treat for him. Its such a huge pet shop at there.. & the robos at there look really very healthy & clean. I bet the hammies at there are very happy with such a great environment.Will definitely go there again to in my stock & i can said bye bye to petsmore

Haha.. Yea cause everywhere were out of stock i been looking for it for quite some times edi & my hammie vitakraft supplies just left 1 week only so buy a bigger packs just in case.. I got 2 robo actually but both taken care by my bf cause my mum wouldnt allow me to have pets in the house cause she kinda dislike furry pets. I been feeding them vitakraft since they was a babies so any others brands they normally wont eat much. So sometime i will help my bf to buy some hammie stuffs for both of them cos 1 of the robo is mine Haha yea i enter twice.. 1st i wanna buy a lotsa stuffs but then realize i might not have enough money so go & find an atm machine to press money. After that enter 2nd time but normally the 1st thing i do when entering a pet shop is to hv a look hammie section especially robo It's been a habit for me really.

Actually i wanna buy a few more stuffs also but then it's getting late so mayb next time will come over with my bf & have a look. And yet i still havent really walk thru all your section especially the dog section.. i kinda love puppies also. Wow really is multi-task.. u working as a part timer at there?

I think i saw it before at pets wonderland mid valley but anyway you can call them up to double confirm before you go.
