QUOTE(chemistry @ Jul 13 2011, 07:24 PM) Did she also mention that "RM50 bonus is limited and first-come-first-served" ? I'm afraid the bonus has long been finished already. The new offer is RM50 per approved principal cardholder... also a chance to win a Sony DSLR http://www.hlb.com.my/promo/pfs/cc_capture...n.pdf?s=ccpromo

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jul 13 2011, 10:40 PM) Usually right after it's posted on the Statement let's say the request for waiver is not granted and we decide to cancel the card. Do we still need to pay the AF?

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jul 13 2011, 10:49 PM) let's say the request for waiver is not granted and we decide to cancel the card. Do we still need to pay the AF? the AF is an upfront fee for next year usage. That means, if you do not want to use the card anymore, you are not obliged to pay AF.

Why dont you list down your requirements in the pinned card recommendation thread and some sifu will advise accordingly

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jul 13 2011, 10:49 PM) let's say the request for waiver is not granted and we decide to cancel the card. Do we still need to pay the AF? Make sure you do not have outstanding balance after the anniversary date. For me, I would clear off my points and stop using the card one month before the anniversary date so that if I want to cancel the card, it can be done on the spot.

It is charge upfront too. Can we do the same i.e. call after chage and if can't get waive then cancel it without paying it?

QUOTE(kei18kun @ Jul 14 2011, 04:19 PM) u should cancel before its being charged. after it got charged, its risky I just got my AMEX Gold Charged Card statement and they imposed GST. So called CS and told them that I cancelled it 2 months back but their system did not show. Anyway, the CS said will cancel the card again and reverse the GST charges.
