nokiaXP, I a bit confused, you apply for personal loan but same time you posted at Finance Section you got RM5K which you don't know what to invest in. You did not mention which bank reject your cc application and which bank approved your pl, I want to know so that I make sure I don't buy that bank shares
To all, I just published my latest article on Maybank CC Promotion. nothing much except for 0% BT and 6% discount with agoda. Click here to read the article. This post has been edited by Gen-X: Oct 11 2011, 09:25 AM |

Bro Gen-X, perhaps you would like to mention in your blog that for Maybank 0% BT, it is recommended that our readers explore more about Maybank's BT system. Great you have the link to Maybank's BT blog but as usual, our readers will skip all this and just take what is obvious to them and not the fine print. In summary, 1. Divide the BT amount into 12 months and this shall be your installment every month. 2. The installment amount would be injected into your credit card account every month over the next 12 month. 3. Thus technically the amount to pay every month is Outstanding + BT installment 4. One need to be careful to pay in full the BT installment every month or will incur interest the moment this requirement is not met. Note : Little is known about Maybank payment hierarchy policy thus one may incur a lot of interest. This post has been edited by hye: Oct 11 2011, 10:07 AM |

I will just cut your above mentioned items and paste it at my blog, hope you don't mind. gerrardling: thank you Sir for showing me the T&C link. It is just odd that Maybank states Cash Advance Fee instead of Admin Fee. Bro, the 7.76% is the effective interest rate? To all: I added a new page to my blog called Fixed Deposit too, makes it easier for those who wants to optimize earning pocket money combining with 0% BT and 0% installment plan. QUOTE(hye @ Oct 11 2011, 10:03 AM) Effective this month, all banks in Malaysia have standardised on the same credit card payment hierarchy of which repayments will be allocated towards items which attract the highest to lowest interest charges. Someone had posted a news article about this some time back but I can't find it. Checking BNM and ABM's site did not yield anything but some banks have already updated their site regarding this. |

I am really getting pissed of with MBB CS. I am running in and out of MBB brunch more than 10 times for the past 2 month since the first day I got my maybankard 2. The CS lack of information/training, ATM machine problems, internet banking problems. until today, I am still unable to register a payee to pay up my bills through maybank2u although I've physically drop by the MBB brunch to fill up the form, get my mobile registered and activated the TAC.
does anyone know what is the exact procedure to get me to solve the TAC problems? This post has been edited by virgoguy: Oct 12 2011, 12:31 AM |
