you trust RHB ?

Depends case to case. Last week i walk in to OCBC to apply a cc by submitting it to an online computer (paperless). Five days later, i received a sms stated my application was approved and said i'll received the card within 7 days from the sms.

Actually after I called to cancel my Plat Visa earlier this week, I also went to the branch to surrender Premier Debit Card, but my RM told me to just keep the Premier Debit Card (0.5% cash back card) and don't worry about the account So maybe the card is free but what is unbelievable is the guy said RHB will give back RM50 to offset GST every year and coming anniversary. RHB did give me back RM50 this year - click here to read about it.Guess just have to wait and see. I don't mind not having the Plat CC but the Premier Debit card really good as I get to jump Q at any RHB branch.

Just to add, I applied the RHB Plat not with the standard CC application form (as erry said RHB Plat need to swipe RM36K to get AF waived) but via PB application form which ensures free AF automatically.

mean no call from bank to verify?

no call at all to verify...just only sms stated it's approved. very simple and no forms to be fill.

It's not typical for banks to call you to confirm CC application.

normally apply through agent at shopping mall need how long?i apply on last mon but today i call rhb they still not received my application.i like apply from them coz got free gift no matter approved or reject.if direct go bank nothing can get

i think you should call up the agent and request for the status

Depends on how often the agent transfers applications to the bank. It costs money to transfer so agents usually will collect some applications first before transferring.

hey guys, i received sms from RHB mentioned that debit/credit card mastercard give away 1 free movie ticket if you buy 1 movie ticket from gsc cinema. anyone can verify this?

by the way, it is DEBIT/PREPAID MASTERCARD, not credit card.

Big Bad Wolf bookfair in MAPES is having 5% discount for OCBC cardmembers off the total bill.

They are promoting the Titanium like mad over there. They have like not less than 30 promoters walking around and pushing everyone to apply. You will get a RM 10 or was it RM 20 voucher (can't remember) to buy books and also giving out trolley bag for new applicant (not sure the trolley bag is a while stock last item or not).

last 2 month current already enough, better still include EPF statement. Can print out urself via website if u got online id
