Property investment is still the safest.... though.. it takes longer to make the return but less risky.

Stock simulator? You mean stock game? Can try out iTrade CIMB. My ranking was screwed since IRIS designated. laugh.gif
I'm looking forward to open a CDS account as well...but look at the CI recently dropped tremendously, don't feel like it's good time to trade atm. Maybe after the worldcup tongue.gif

That one is not a game right ?

Anyone know about stock simulator which deals with virtual $$ to play. It's a game but based on the realistic stock market of KLSE.

The one i knew is stockk.com but it's been down. There are some games about NYSE but i have no knowledge regarding US stocks/companies. I think it's easier for me to pick up from KLSE.

I used to play with TheStar punya Marketwatch online portfolio, but damn tipu one lah, u can sell at any price and it's immediate (there's no sell queue or buy queue), I can simply buy Genting's share for the current price and sell it for RM 500 per share (manually entered) and make tonnes of virtual money LOL

Although virtual stock trading might be a good way to gain some experience in share investment, game still is a game, when you are dealing with huge chunk of money (hard-earned), then it is a bit different.
You can simply buy any stock in the virtual game, if turns out the share decline and loss then you can simply said, oopps I make a mistake. But in real money trade, it might mean ten or hundred of thousand of loss just because the mistake.

When buying or investing a particular stock (for long term), a lot of consideration needs to be well studied eg. valuation, PE ratio, company prospect, yield, interest rate effect, management, healthy cash flow, etc. in order to justify your investment whether worth it or not. If the the share returns can't outperform interest rate then better save it in the bank with minimal risk. (It is part of reason share plunged so much recently because US and others countries raise their interest rate which make share less attractive)

But when trading 'goreng' stock then it is different story already, it is some sort like hit and run, gain enough must run, never hold this kind of stock for long term.

PS: Game still is a game, never treat real hard-earned money into a game play. If treat it like game, it is no different with gambling.

Even though it is simulator, I believe one can learn many things about trading. rclxms.gif
One reminder is to use the exact amount of cash you will put up if you are doing it for real. For example if you have RM 10000 then use it as your starting capital in the portfolio.
