My fon had battery empty den off it self but never never face like this before, so u shud bring to d shop check n claim warranty if needed...

yea i agree with u, proof is even d basic samsung kies that sync fon with pc also sux 10000x .... can't even expect to use it to back up fon data =.=

i called samsung service center to ask abt 2.3 - he told me 2 weeks time.....i believe end of this month out

service center as they 100% do not support KIES as they experienced people coming into center complain abt KIES issues

before this already turn off by itself due to out of batt but it didn't corrupt the memory.
i'll try and observe again if it still occur the i'll go for warranty claim.just curious that if this has ever happen to u guys.there goes all of my raya pict. T.T

guys,u all use what casing and screen protector on ur SL?

I wanted this (let's call it SP 1), bought it from eBay:

When it arrived, it was SP 2 :

While waiting for it to arrive, I bought another one from LYN seller, next day delivery (don't want to leave the screen naked), SP 2 above.
When it arrived, it was SP 3


So in the end, never got my SP 1 with the most protection

LYP all sells SP 3 only, RM15.

Got a matte black battery cover. Now my 2nd-hand SL looks as good as new


Wanted a Nillkin hard case but at RM60, it's beyond my budget

Rooting itself does nothing, it only allows you full access to your /system folder. For me, with root access, I remove the stock ringtones which I don't like, stock apps which I don't use (even the Browser), install apps like Font Change (change to any TTF fonts easily) and Titanium Backup (full backup of apps, example those games which you played for so long and when flash firmware, all gone). Can remove those startup sound, animation, etc.

im nt sure what other colour it has but i remember few colours like pink/black and white/black got..

i got this fake sgp case which claim to be genuine from prangin mall penang at rm20
i nego with him kaw kaw as i know it is not ori (the price was initially at rm50) which shocked me
and i show him my gs2 ori sgp ultra capsule
he was so shocked and reduce the price for me
this case resemble the sgp ultra thin air but the quality really that bad
got a lot of paint tear inside for my case (not sure about u)
i bought that fake sgp case for my wife SL which she find so hard for a pink case
just my 2 cent

yea, of cos the quality diff..
for now, didnt cause me any prob yet..
but will let other know if it does cause any prob..
yalor, at 1st the shop put the price rm40..
then when i ask for the best price,
suddenly go down until rm29.90...
quite pricey for non-ori stuff..

Who ever intend to do factory setting.....and has back up your data by using KIES...

i would advice you to back up ur sms with a 3rd party application....

All info can be restore back to your phone except sms......only can view my sms in KIES...

so lousy.....

using MyBackup pro, no issue with restoring sms back



BTW,
anyone here have issue with touchscreen? like sometimes the screen will lose sensitivity if u touch and hold on a spot for few seconds, one example is holding the camera shutter key then the phone will suddenly took a pic even you still holding on the shutter button.

oh i see! how to remove the stock apps, animation sound etc? so many unwanted apps there! yea planning to use titanium backup. u use free version or full version?

oh ya. if i customise my lock screen animation. i want the effect like how we switch off our tv. need to flash new rom ni can do it?
