Anybody here root your phone? wanna ask how long does the process take?

i tried to root with super one click but it hanged. the program is not responding. helppp~

how u reinstall drivers? is it..in kies, u choose "tools" > "install driver"?
then after u launch super one click. u choose "gingerbreak"?

erm i used 2.1.1 too wor. look at the top right corner. there's this drop down menu call "exploit" we get to choose auto, gingerbreak..etc. i followed the instruction posted in the first page though. then i try rooting again yesterday. it moves..but in the end, there write "failed"

mine too! i tried to use google map yesterday. my location in the map is wrong. its like few streets away from my actual location. anyone know whats wrong? my papago cant lock location as well. the gps icon keep blinking.

root successful! with auto mode. the gingerbreak (from 1st page) doesnt work still. anyway whats the difference after rooting. i see like no difference..

oh i see! how to remove the stock apps, animation sound etc? so many unwanted apps there! yea planning to use titanium backup. u use free version or full version?

oh ya. if i customise my lock screen animation. i want the effect like how we switch off our tv. need to flash new rom ni can do it?

and. did you guys come across any apps that can use front camera with full screen? instead of the default camera app which only show us a small box when using front camera

Help~~ i tried to swap my internal and external sd just now. after following all the steps, i cant see my internal and external storage. then i tried the ADB method from xda forum. not working too. then i hard reset my phone.. anyone swap successful?

okay something weird happened. after i reset. the storage is successfully swapped. but then.. after i transfer stuff into the sd. the phone cant detect both the internal and external sd anymore. it shows 0.00/0.00B.

dont know how to save it. even after hard reset still not revert back to original.

yup i tried to format the microsd way. the ADB method i got no idea how to do it..
anyway i also tried flashing then i couldnt switch on my phone after that. guess i did something wrong somewhere. still noob about all these. then i brought my phone to samsung. and voila all back original. but then still think the internal 1.52GB storage is not enough. wanna try swapping again but scared i screw it up again.

and oh, i asked Penang samsung center last saturday, they say its not out yet. and dont know when will it be out. The girl say we can FB Samsung and bug them there.. -.-

Hi guys.. would like to ask. when you set wallpaper, what size of picture do u usually choose? or just choose at random. I'm facing this problem. whenever we wanna set a photo as wallpaper, we will be asked to crop it right? just like the picture below. lets say i want to put the whole picture as my wallpaper and not just part of it. how do i do it? i the orange box just cant fit the whole picture. what should i do prior to setting wallpaper? reduce the size or something? the same problem also occur when im setting photo for contacts.

i'm using Go Launcher and also scrolling wallpaper. I still get the same result.. the orange rectangular is the biggest size the phone allowed me to go..

Guys.. this is a stupid question i know..
i just upgraded to gingerbread. may i know how to root it? can i still use super one click like how i root when using froyo?
i have checked the link posted in the post above.. but i cant seem to find the instruction to root using odin.. help..
cuz i backup my stuff using titanium.. now i cant restore. cuz it requires root access.. if im not mistaken

Baseband version is DXKP7
Build number is DXKP9
i checked out that link yesterday but i dont know how to dp it using odin. Previously during froyo, i root using super one click. Is there any step by step instruction?
