then after u launch super one click. u choose "gingerbreak"?

Yes correct. Then after launch SOC, click on 'root' button (can't see gingerbreak). Mine is SOC v2.1.1.

actually if your phone hang or like turn off ie black screen...no need to remove battery...

the function is somewhat similar to IPHONE....press the off button (on your right side) for a few seconds....then it will auto reboot....

Its actually better..class 10 got faster transfer speed

With my SL its a lot rarer. Somehow I believe most recent Samsung phones will have this. To certain extent i believe this is a android problem. According to my own theory its due my router. If you want to try, reset your router as often as possible.

Why cant I suft the internet using this phone..I got error "403 Forbidden" for all the website I'm trying to connect.I'm using maxis broadband simcard..Pls help..

never tried putting sim card for modems into phone... is there any entry in your APN setting?

erm i used 2.1.1 too wor. look at the top right corner. there's this drop down menu call "exploit" we get to choose auto, gingerbreak..etc. i followed the instruction posted in the first page though. then i try rooting again yesterday. it moves..but in the end, there write "failed"

mine too! i tried to use google map yesterday. my location in the map is wrong. its like few streets away from my actual location. anyone know whats wrong? my papago cant lock location as well. the gps icon keep blinking.

Been thr before,
no matter what have done, the GPS is still unable to lock. I think official dxkb2 ROM is having a screwed GPS driver
the only way to solve this for me is to flash it to other ROM like xxkb3(froyo) or the newer gingerbread (XXKPH).. since u not going to root then i also assume u not going to flash it either.. so try to live with it until samsung MY releases the GB update.. wait wait wait wait...

In that case, I used Auto. Make sure debugging ticked, SD card unmounted, drivers installed. My Wireless and networks > USB connection is set to 'ask on connection'. Plug in phone (wait and see if Windows installs any drivers) and click root.

GPS totally unpredictable. The other night I drove until arrived at the destination and it never locked. This morning I got a lock in mere seconds. Sigh.

Seems like my SL can't play 1280x720 MP4 files smoothly with MoboPlayer. The video lags. How about you guys?
Found the problem. SL cannot play nicely 720p files encoded in AVC/H264.

thanks for this info, but if you google hard enough, both the Legend and also the X10 have users reported this before.

just now my phone is out of battery until it shutdown by itself, then when i charge restarted the phone my sd card become corrupted and unreadable.
i had to reformat the card to use it back.have anyone encounter this kind of problem?i use kingmax 8gb class 4 card,my phone is 2 weeks old only

No need to Google so hard lah. Their case may be user problem. My case is definitely Samsung problem since I have the same usage for all 4 phones and the issue only occurred on the 2 Samsungs.
