Thanks.

Oh, if not mistaken I upgraded my Streamyx to 4Mbps this year, is there any penalty if I want to upgrade to Unifi?

I subscribed Streamyx x HP laptop last 2 years (contract til 2012 February)
The package must full payment by credit card.
So credit card already paid for the package.
So now every month I paid for my credit card (streamyx rm99+ laptop rm60)
So if now I subscribed unifi, I'm worried they will charge me for 2 bill.
1 bill from credit card rm99+60 and another bill is the unifi rm149.

any idea for this problem?

I have good news for you guys..

I myself was Streamyx subscriber started Oct 2011 with two years contract (Free HP notebook).
Below is my email to Unifi and i got replied very very fast.
Amazing how fast they reply to "potential customer" but they never bother to reply to "Complaints" i made after installed Unifi

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

However my package was free notebook but yours are not..
But i believe you will able to cancel the streamyx but still have to pay for the notebook until Feb 2012.
Btw Unifi even called me and help me to cancel my streamyx + phone after installation done.. I dont even need to walk in to TM Point

Anyone encountering issues with Unifi today? It started early this morning. Suddenly disconnect and can no longer connect.

The VOIP is working and DSL light is on. However, i can't connect to the service.

am in kota damansara area. My relative who lives in the same apartment as me also can't get on.

Want to see who else.

nice bos, for me TM Modem that call stupid 'D-link or Black' is enough also FREE, make it as Bridge + with previous router like me 'WRT54GL + Tomato' performance and all 2 thumb up thumbup.gif work like charm with my VIP20. The main problem TM Dlink Router is HOT HOT HOT and can solve with extra 80mm x 80mm 2500 RPM icon_rolleyes.gif notworthy.gif

Hi Calvin,

I'm currently on VIP5 for the past 3 weeks now and been having issues in terms of stability connection with my Macbook Pro 2011 and blackberry bold 9780 and my brother's android.

this is my current TM supplied router http://yfrog.com/gyiy1jcj (which is giving me all the problems)

Is there a way that I could connect (which I do own this)
http://www.netgear.com/home/products/wirel...y/WNR3500L.aspx

as a second wireless point, so I can get my blackberry, macbookpro and other gadget to get connected?
Would you advice me? thanks!

Easier 1, connect the TM supplied router LAN port to ur route LAN port (not WAN). Before that, disable DHCP in your router.. That's it..

Hi everyone. New Unifi subscriber reporting rclxms.gif

Unifi list: DAVE008- VIP5

Speed is all ok for the timebeing. Hope it stays. Btw just needed to ask the sifus here, about the Drop Fibre from the FTTH box outside.

It just seems the installer pull the wire from opposite the road & dangled the wire all the way to my house. Cables in the sky & it looks quite messy. Is this the proper way ?

I actually have another poll at the back of my house which is nearer & could they have taken the cables from there instead. I'm just afraid if there is any tall vehicle/crane passing by, sure putus the wire. Also the Technician were not friendly/helpful, never explain anything, but need to ask them this & that. Should i complain to the helpdesk. Pls advice.

Appreciate your help.
