Hi guys? Is your unifi working for you today? Mine hasnt been working :/ tried many many different ways, still a no go. I'm on 192.168.0.1 and it says my internet offline. When trying to connect through the status page it keeps on saying pppoe disconnected. And when I click connect it just go again and again. Connecting then disconnected. The LOS button is bright red and even many many resets still can't work. Does anyone know what's wrong? Will give a call to tm if no one here knows how to solve this..

How's your VOIP and IPTV service? If those two are also down it sounds like a physical/PON issue. You need to call them so they can check your port status.

Calling them now... it used to be a uncommon but now it's happening too frequently. But I've been waiting to talk to a rep for almost 10 minutes... Either other people are having the same problem or only two reps are working at this hour.... sucks to be them.

Even using the Unifi phone, I'm getting interferences/ signal losses in the calls.

hi guys.

anyone here got unifi in a landed property BUT using vdsl instead of ftth?

i'm quite curious how my area (taman sri bahagia cheras) got unifi when there hasn't been much installation work around. and the back alley is kinda grilled up, only residents have the key, afaik no one has opened the back alley to install anything.

but i did see some activity at a TM cabinet nearby, and i see some @unifi wifi networks in my area, wondering if its fiber to the curb and some kinda dsl variant to the house.

Why you have credit in Streamyx? If you overpaid, TM will return the money by cheque when you terminate.
*
I subscribed Streamyx x HP laptop last 2 years (contract til 2012 February)
The package must full payment by credit card.
So credit card already paid for the package.
So now every month I paid for my credit card (streamyx rm99+ laptop rm60)
So if now I subscribed unifi, I'm worried they will charge me for 2 bill.
1 bill from credit card rm99+60 and another bill is the unifi rm149.

any idea for this problem?

I see..

I think you need to ask TM whether you can ask for refund if you terminate streamyx account because upgrading to Unifi. The only problem here is, you are under contract with additional benefit (cheaper laptop).

If you paid in advance without any benefit, I can confirm you can ask for refund.

To klseet :

Thank you very much for your guidance on how to setup RT-N13U-B1 router to work with Unifi, i really appreciate it.

I got my hand on this router for replacement last night, and it's now working fine, but i encountered hiccup during setup, hope you can forward this to ASUS engineering team. I am BIZ package user, but Special Requirement from ISP for Unifi-Business does not work, instead i have to use this:

Then only i got connected:

When choosing Unifi-Business, the error was "No respond from remote server", but Internet LED at router was on, so i guess it must be something to do with VLAN tagging.

However, there is no interruption on speed and any other operations, works flawlessly, for now.. and hope it will continue to be like this smile.gif
