I have good news for you guys..

I myself was Streamyx subscriber started Oct 2011 with two years contract (Free HP notebook).
Below is my email to Unifi and i got replied very very fast.
Amazing how fast they reply to "potential customer" but they never bother to reply to "Complaints" i made after installed Unifi

However my package was free notebook but yours are not..
But i believe you will able to cancel the streamyx but still have to pay for the notebook until Feb 2012.
Btw Unifi even called me and help me to cancel my streamyx + phone after installation done.. I dont even need to walk in to TM Point

U also consider lucky...I got charged RM60 buta buta for extra 6meter cable..1 year ago when i install Streamyx never get charged (also pull new line) but why Unifi get charged?? My house dont even exceed 15meter lol..
I sent email from my corporate email and also complaint via online to them buy never get any reply lol

Im curious how is the bandwidth calculated..
Its a different VLAN but its still the same IP isnt it? So how does Unifi differentiate the bandwidth?
Unless it does not use port 80 ?

That is your 1st and 2nd month bill for Unifi...

RM149 for 2nd month, and RM19.23 (for the 3 days) on the 1st month.
You applied online so there are RM149 (worth 1 month) free subscription.

Anything else?

You are considered lucky because bill starts on the day installation, mine started like 1-3days before actual installation

Anyone applied business package via online?

Im helping my fren to apply but up to the part to choose appointment it just stuck there...
I chosen the date and reserved the date, then it ask to choose 2nd date and i tried but it ask me to choose same date..But the problem is same date is not available doh.gif

RM149 rebate shown clearly (-72.10 + -76.90) separated because 1st month was pro-rated but i still get RM149 free (worth 1 month)

They probably allocated the numbers by some method.

I mean all those "offer" is standard package, and the guy is not from TM but is agent trying to convince ppl to sign up with him so he can get commission.

And not to mention there are extra "offer" REAL OFFER if u apply via online at http://www.unifi.my u get 1 month free subscription (only apply via online get, agent no get)

I dont understand ur problem...
Unifi uses fibre optic (yes different if u compare with telephone line)..

Your alarm system requires phoneline for what purpose? Call your HP if got breakin? Or just for talking with ppl that waiting at gate to open?

Uhm i think the unifi line are voip aka digital line so i dont think it will work on the alarm. U might want to consider to change the alarm to 3G/simcard or one that support digital line or somehow convert the line to analog line..

unifi account password u need to login to web and request for change.
The pin code are wifi default password, if u havent change it.

Mine also always like that...twice after electricity black out.
I had to create multiple wireless SSID only then laptop can detect..

Weird thing is if security is none then can....WEP or WPA/WPA2 cannot..

some get charged some no. depends the installer honest or not.
personally i get charged RM60.

2nd time asking this question....

Anyone tried applied BIZ package online?
Im helping my friend but up to the stage to choose appointment date, done 1st time but ask me to choose 2nd date (with condition same date with 1st date) but there are no same date for me to choose.
