QUOTE(brotan @ Sep 28 2011, 08:35 AM) Erm... The router itself is the problem. But not everyone has problem with it. Some of the user here got no prob with their router but in my case, just a condo. It's not coverage problem but interference problem. Happens to be caused by weak signal. Most of my housemates keep disconnect from the router and can't reconnect (either can't SEE or can't CONNECT TO INTERNET). Can only be solved by restarting the router. Then it comes the problem where the router is restarted by them frequently until i cannot tahan... Bought a 841ND to replace it but haven't try it with everyone connecting to the router yet. For your case, you can either make dir615 as a bridge, disable dhcp on ur own router and connect it to the dir615 for better wireless or... just change whole thing to get a better router that can handle wireless and connections through it. You can read klseet.com for more info. QUOTE(Nixdorf @ Sep 28 2011, 08:45 AM) hrm...in that case I will consider to change mine soon. thanks for the info! Change it only if you really think it is not functioning well. Some of the users here survive with dir615 or TMRND router~ Save money mahhh Added on September 28, 2011, 8:49 amis that something wrong with UniFi portal? I have been trying to change the streamyx zone password for tons of time but STILL "Modify Password failed. Please try again later. " wtf ! QUOTE(cjlio1 @ Sep 28 2011, 10:42 AM) The batteries that comes with the phone is useless after 1 charge and cannot keep its charge. I just want to use my old phone 2 RJ15? It should be 1 RJ15 and another one is power supply right? Just unplug and plug it into normal phone. You need to keep your FTB and BTU on. Router and STB doesn't matter.Added on September 28, 2011, 10:45 am Ok but must the modem or other eq be switched on? To use the normal phone just unplug the RJ15 from the DECT and plug it into the normal phone ? But i saw that there were 2 RJ15 wires connected to the base of the DECT phone. what is for what ? |

QUOTE(preducer @ Sep 28 2011, 12:53 PM) would it be possible to change the rechargeable battery (dect phone) to another brand like eneloop etc. ? If your DECT phone uses AAA, then you can use any rechargeable AAA battery.Am not very sure about this, but Eneloop batteries *may* need to be charged by the Sanyo recommended charger for optimum performance; hence the DECT phone base station might not be best for charging Eneloop? May I know waht is the WiFi PIN use for? At first it is a wireless password for my wireless device to connect to the router. But after I set the WPA password, there is no need to use WiFi PIN, but still I can see the WiFi PIN option there but I have no idea what is it use for. I call to TM but they coudln't answer my question.

Just press connect on ur computer/laptop then just press the BLACK button beside dir 615 then it will set up itself. |

I hope they reconsider the quota. In US, Chris Pirillo (remember him? Call For Help on TechTV?) interview someone who recently got banned from signing up for Comcast HSBB Internet for 1 year because repetitively break quota. He didn't even do anything illegal- just watch movie on Netflix and Youtube, buy and download game from XBox Live Market and play game on XBox Live, and save backup to cloud backup service. His quota is 250GB and still keep running over. If 250GB is that inadequate, what does that say about 120GB, and we all use it for the same thing if not more? (sumore XBL game updates very rare compare to Steam. If you play Team Fortress 2 you receive 120-200MB updates every 3 days! And if you share your connection among 3 other family members, each have their own laptop and hentam Youtube like gila every night, god help you. and that's not even counting Windows/Mac/Linux/Antivirus/Office Updates, especially if you're also a computer nut and have a few rigs in your home).
