Personally I think its best to walk-in to TM Point to terminate the phone line / Streamyx by yourself instead of getting the installer to do it for you.
I terminated both my phone line and Streamyx account the day after Unifi is installed, and I get an "acknowledgement" slip, and was told whatever billing item will be pro-rated based on the date of termination. Also, I asked the officer about returning the old TM single line phone, it was mentioned that there will be a penalty of RM60 (deduct from deposit) if it is not returned within ~30 days. Was told that final bill with outstanding amount (+ or -) will be sent, if there is negative balance (after deducting deposit amount) then a cheque will be mailed to you. If not then just pay the balance. So, to avoid disappointment and surprise in your bill, best is just DIY |

Yeah I settle my previous line and streamyx myself, just go to TM Point, fill in the form and pass them the phone. Now waiting for them to send me the bill so that I know how much I need to pay.
Unifi dc last night, could only reconnect after I restart the modem, after everything fine |
