I think my application on CIMB Balance Transfer got approved, but I haven't receive any letter. CIMB officer also quite rushing over phone call, from card application to balance transfer application, both call is less than 1 minute.

She just say I will receive a letter. Did they directly bank in to there other bank? I read here, I actually need to take cheque from CIMB? Thanks.

DA 0% BT for 6 months only.

1% for 12 months.

But hopefully that will change if DA is going for an extension.

Just wondering any upfront charges, hidden charges or terms and conditions applied?

can always get CIMB card also FOC and same nbenefits as DA. But don't apply for the Islamic card as cannot to BT.

Anyway, just to inform, I fax to DA BT application 2 days ago, today call up to check if they received the application, was told it has been approved and pending payment next week, very efficient.

Anyone knows if i can make a balance transfer to the same card twice ? HSBC is currently offering a 0% BT with no upfront fee. I am thinking to do a BT from my Citibank VISA. I have two Citibank credit cards. Both come with different statement date.

I think that shouldn't be a problem as long as you have sufficient credit limit.

CIMB replied, there is no cheque. They mentioned they had transfer the money to other bank. They create a new virtual CC account for balance transfer. Can view from online too. Kind of cool.

Had to check with the other bank whether they receive the money or not.
