am blown away....

but right now, am totally mesmerized by the screen......

not thinking of rooting, ROM, kernel right now...using the phone as it is...but slowly, after educating myself more...might take the path too....

for those who are into statistics... it is based on some numbers i collected over a few weeks.

on average...
* charging rate over USB is at 1% for every 3 mins. it works out to about 20% per hour.
* direct charging (power socket) is at 1% for every 2 mins. so, it's about 30% per hour.

note that the above stats is based on stock rom with some processes like rss reader and tweedeck updates at every 15mins.

for idle discharging with same background process as above -- rss reader and tweetdeck set to refresh every 15mins + some incoming sms, etc but NO calls... it is about 1% every 20-30mins. can safely say that it's 2% per hour. so, overnight (hrs of sleep time), for me... i can expect the battery to drop by 15% or so...

welcome... yes... it's a hard decision for people when it comes to deciding between ip4 and sgs2. after all, everyone is on ip4 and earlier androids were not really that mind-blowing...

i've been using my sgs2 for more than a month now and no real reason to really need me to root the phone. stock is fine, though there are 1-2 quirks.

anyway, enjoy... smile.gif

:S
Flash with litening 5.0 but stuck at boot loop.
Quickly flash it to stock firmware XXKG6 and turn it back on.
Gonna go for another try tonight with litening 5.0.

Seems that 90% of the users who flash from stock -> litening 5.0 sure kena boot loop

This I believe is due to kernel. Actually one way is to flash the kernel separately first - Speedmod T17. Reboot and go to download mode - Than only flash Litening 5.0
Before flash with Odin , go to recovery mode and clear cache partition, at advanced - clear Dalvik.
WORST SCENARIO - if still have bootloop - clear data/factory reset

hi guys~ I have this battery drain problem from wifi sharing... everytime I use wifi(the normal wifi, connect to wifi) the wifi sharing and wifi sharing manager automatic run by itself even after I disconnect from wifi and draining the battery...

I did a bit of searching seem to be a bug on 2.3.3 and can't find any solution, anyone have any solution beside killing it manually every time =.=||

Use Titanium Backup and FREEZE these 2 apps if you have no use of it all

WIFI always is priority over 3G. If the wifi signal drop, it will auto try to activate the 3G to connect
