If you have turn off everything then the drain is abnornal. You may want to look at battery usage and see what items drain most. Not sure if you adjust voltages using tegrak, you may accidentally increase the values? If you have use your phone for a while, probably you want to calibrate your battery state after a full charge. [/quote] I understand, but i calibrated last wednesday but it wasnt 100% battery full though. i tried to reset the default kernel settings on tegrak its back and running @1.2ghz. Will monitor for a while. Will update this post. and FYI i already checked the battery usage : See details below. 18H 33M 13s On Battery Display : 53% Android : 19%: Cell Standby : 7% Phone Idle : 5% Android OS : 4% Mediaserver: 3% Tap Tap Revenge 4 : 4% Hero of sparta HD: 3% N.O.V.A : 3% Fruit Ninja : 2% |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 14 2011, 09:59 AM) Regarding your battery drain, if you had ever open your latitude app once before, make sure you log out before you exit the app. Otherwise it will keep on running in the background and gooble up your battery juice like no tomorrow :-) I dont remember opening latitude app, not sure though, but what im doing right now is im draining the battery its on 10% and will charge to 100% then re-calibrate it. see what happens.Just saying.. |

Just an update on the status of my battery, i did recalibrate AGAIN. I was able to find out that the culprit was LAUNCHER PRO. After removing it, i did the same thing, sleep around 11:30 PM - 06:30 AM my battery just lost 5% and im happy now! not sure why launcher pro will drain my batt that much.. and also my display is now 33% Running on STOCK ROM.. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Aug 15 2011, 10:14 AM) Battery drain due to launcher seems strange Yeah, me too, it is strange.. btw im on STOCK ROM. but im glad the issue is fixed i tot i need to go back and replace my battery lol.. I am using spb shell3d launcher that consume even more resources. With cognition 1.31 or modaco rom, overnight battery drain is about 1.5-2.0% per hour with 3g on. In background actively refreshing and update my email, rss feed, tweeter feeds every 60 mins If i disconnect 3g, the drain is about 8 % over 7 hours QUOTE(megadisc @ Aug 15 2011, 10:14 AM) congrats to you bro I guess i have to stick on the default for now for finding the root casuse me using the go launcher since had been using it quite some time liao ... u wanna try other launcher ? |

QUOTE(c010 @ Aug 15 2011, 11:09 AM) i have been using Launcher Pro since my days with SGS1 and i never encounter any battery drain. My battery usually will drop average 2% over night with data on. I think Launcher Pro might not be the real culprit. Suspect could be your widgets. I see, but i dont have much widgets on the screen.. hehe.. but i think im good now, as long as the battery doesnt have abnormal drain. |
