not surprising... but to be honest... there's been more concerns with how patent trolls are abusing the patent system to earn quick bucks... if you have been following news... tech companies are buying up patents and suing one another... apple sued htc and there's a possibility of apple winning. however, htc also sued apple and there's also a possibility of winning... in the end... its like if you got more patents and suing more times, you win.

no surprise then that google recently 'bought' some patents from ibm... and bad mouth MS + Apple and said they are suffocating Android.

in EU, Samsung blocked from selling... In AU, its similar though if later on its proven that Samsung did not copy or infringe on anything, Apple will pay Samsung for the loss of sales incurred.

saw today's news... got new version of GMail Apps. In the market, its now 2.3.5.

i checked on my phone and its still 2.3.4. how to update? i dun see GMail apps in 'My Apps'.

no, i didn't install black market games.. i got all games/ apps from android market. I'm using stock ROM that is XXKG6.. I reboot while i open My Files and while playing MP3 with power amp software.

Added on August 11, 2011, 8:25 amTry recall which app you recently download and try one by one (uninstall) and see which is culprit. Worst case, hard reset, full wipe, wipe cache and dalvik. After that, install back some of the apps and try one by one.

What I can recall is I installed power amp player.. But last night I already flashed to XXKG3, since XXKFG6 is leaked version. Is there a software to test RAM? like memtest86 for PC?

Hey guys, im new to android..i have been having problems with my galaxy s2... I keep getting an error saying " The app TwLauncher (process com.sec.android.app.twlauncher) has stopped unexpectedly.Please try again."
the only option i have is to force close... i have tried doing the hard reset, erase all memory, but its still not going away.. N after i presse force close, my home screen widget all goes back to stock, d one with d accuweather widget, apmobile widget n others..so i have to change it 1 by 1 to how i want it again..

N when i use my phone for a day without the twlauncher crashing, i realise the phone slows down, getting out of call logs n contacts will take a few seconds.. compared to my friends phones it nvr slows down..
N after twlauncher crashes, it restores ill get back the normal speed... pls helpp...if i should go bck to samsung?

Guys, i'm in the middle of doing some stress test to my SGSII here. Are this type of test valuable?
What are this app suppose to do? And do i have to wait until the test finish or until my phone crash?

Did you ever install any other launcher in your phone? If you using only the stock TWlauncher and it keep on crashing then i advise you go to Service Centre for check up. Most probably they will flash a new stock rom for you.

did u root/flash ur SGSII? or installed any "ahem" apps? or both u also done?edited. jz saw u had done hard reset. hmm... so izit still virgin or...?

Thanks for the quick response guys.. yes i installed go launcher from the market.. but i uninstalled it, n frm what i can recall it started crashing after i uninstalled the go launcher...the go launcher could have messed up my rom?

After that i tried rooting my phone,flashed to insecure kernel, rooted n then flashed bck to secure kernel.. but it still crashed..so i flashed it bck to insecure, then unrooted it bck, and then flashed bck to secure... I never changed d rom at all. can go to samsung like this?

After all that, i did the hard reset, it still crashes..
What should I do?

I was very pissed off by Maxis yesterday. I called the customer support to check SGS2 stock availability around 12 something noon , and the guy told me KLCC got litmited stock and was first come first serve.

So I rushed to KLCC during my lunch hour around 1pm, and asked the maxis stuff there, but then the guy told me that so called "limited stock" and first come first serve, was only reserved for the customer bookings only, not for walk-in customer.

!@#$%^&* maxis, wasted my petrol, time and parking fees and got nothing.
