Show them the picture that you show to us just now. Tell them how what the setting is and how to replicate the situation. I'm sure they know how to check your screen

trust me that they never know how to check your screen! shakehead.gif

my experience for the past whole week:

2nd Aug - sent in for yellowish tint issue

5th Aug -Morning- received sms to collect phone - Noon -collected, screen replaced, but only done minor checking on the spot to make sure yellowish tint is gone - Evening- reached home from work, playing the phone with light switched off at room, the screen automatically tuned to lowest brightness, then some small white circle spots appeared in the middle and top right corner of the screen

6th Aug - Sent it back to samsung, the reception told me there was no technician that day so can't explain why is it appearing. But they have made clear notes on the job sheet stating all my problems.

8th Aug - after various phone calls to samsung 1800, the berjaya technician finally call me and told me this:" Mr., I don't see anything on your screen wor" cry.gif they indirectly forced me to drive all the way down to plaza berjaya from sunway area just to show them those spots. At first they still try to deny there are spots around, but after showing them various pictures from various source - google etc. They finally admitted there are spots and agreed to change another screen for me rclxub.gif

until now I haven't receive SMS telling me to collect my phone whistling.gif I bought the phone for three weeks, used it for two weeks and one weeks is with samsung service centre thumbup.gif

Seriously, I'm begining to think that un-uniform degradation of organic elements leading to general screen quirkiness is a trademark of most AMOLED screens in general.

I mean, we never look at something that's fully in one colour, except in rare instances (i.e. checking the screen for defects, ironically). So as EACH SAPERATE PIXEL degrades after use and EVERY COLOURED IMAGE lights up random amounts of said pixels... ugh.

We need a longer lasting inorganic OLED alternative.

Oh, while work has been absolutely killer over here these past few weeks, I've managed to curik some time to go back to my original WidgetLocker config.

Very little battery drain too, it seems (comparable to my old ExecAssist lockscreen), so prolly sticking with this as it offers more functionality.

Which is funny bcause I ran away from WL last time due to battery drain. Maybe it was my experiments with Tegrak back then (was testing schedulers at the time).

Mine can last about 1 day. I charge my SGS2 every night 8-9PM until it full and produce the beep! sound (need 3 hours)
i put most the App in manually sync. only my Whatsapp and Live Messenger is auto sync. i also do around 2.5 hours of web browsing everyday.
No playing games, listening to music and watch video.

If you got black market games then uninstall it. Try to do hard reset and see if the reboot stop. Are you still on stock rom or custom rom already?

What games is it? Some games are badly written and can freeze your phone. Or are you playing games while charging your phone?

Try to clear your cache first. Go to setting > applications > manage applications > all > market > clear cache
If still cannot then do a hard reset.
If still cannot, uninstall market and then install it back.

what is your expectation?..this is smartphone..not normal 3310 phone that can last 3-7 days...

anyhow, it depends on your usage as well..and also time..by time, it will get better..mine 8-9 bours..battery drop from 100% full charge to 65%...that time i'm already at home..so just charge again regardless still having 65% battery..to add, i sync my mail every few minutes, light browsing of lowyat..facebook sync on 24/7..using 3G all the time..

I love his word " struggling"
Many users are struggling to get even 8 hours on it. I will buy lottery, sure strike if i can consistently get 12 hours
