here's another round of checking with fellow users...

i noticed the wifi on the phone is not stable... what i mean is...
* i can connect to the wifi network
* internet via that wifi network is confirmed fine as other machines connected to it can surf the internet
* but on the phone, it shows connected but its not able to surf the net, retrieve RSS feeds, connect to game servers... i just get error messages.

i noticed that when this happens, i just off and on the wifi again. and i normally leave wifi turned on. <--- btw, is this a good practice?

soft brick edi. try to turn off the phone by long pressing power button. take out battery for 10 minutes, re-insert and try go to recovery mode. wipe cache partition + dalvik cache, power off, go to download mode, and flash again.

its mid week... we all need some laugh. and i'm glad i can provide some...

bro i know how to go to download mode , but " try go to recovery mode. wipe cache partition + dalvik cache " , how to perform this step ?

sorry for asking many question , kinda panic here ! edi tooked out the battery , is it the rom i DL cant be used ? i DL from samfirmware , 2.3.4 china !

any rom sifu u using can provide me dl link ? odin 1.83 also dl from samfirmware.

so fast V11 Pg19 summore...asked my very 1st question yesterday now buried in V10 already ...anyway try to ask again, I've this battery drain problem, basically I m a lite user,

1day 100% -> 70%
2day 70% -> 40% very happy...coz my new phone can tahan > 48 hrs....then
3rd day 40% -> 0% in just 6hrs ,
doing nothing special, just use as usual....but i feel that the phone was a bit warm in my pocket, took out & check everything just fine & screen still off!!

never have this problem with Nexus One...any one hav this prob??

anyway just small matter & I still love this phone

Sigh , i try remove batt 10 min , put back in , power off , home + volume up + power button..

but still showing "phone ... ! ... PC "

try reflash it thru odin. neglect all those images show on ur phone as long as ur computer n odin can detect ur half-completed paperweight. if kenot... either get a jigg, get a life or get to samsung service centre

Check the FP for the magic word "Jig" without quotes.

Firstly chill, enter back download mode(home+power+vol down) and try reflash the rom again, dont care about the recovery mode thing, you dont have it

its his first time flashing, his kernal is still stock, thats why he cant enter recovery mode, because it doesnt exist yet.

able to enter back DL mode and reflash , fail again , i follow all the step no put in pit or whatever d ...

can point to me a specific firmware to DL ? may i DL the wrong 1 cant be used >?

restart computer, off ur phone, on back again, then try flash again, what rom you trying to flash ah?

for all the people using Mac...
the sync between mac OS iCal, Address Book with Android....it must go through Google is it?

rule of thumb, make sure you close your odin and run again each time you try to flash something to reduce failing rate. make sure when you are in download mode first then only connect the cable to your pc/laptop and make sure that odin detects your phone (ID:COM will turn yellow)
