No all saving account can used to access internet banking for BSN.

Oh, my one is Basic Saving account (Waived RM8.00 annual fee) one. I though it same as other bank service provider like MayBank or Public Bank cannot used to access internet banking for BSN.

I wanted to transfer money from Maybank to CIMB, but there is no enough space to key in the recipient's full name. How? Is it ok if I just key in the front name, without "Bin Md. Ali" behind?

Yes, no need full name, m2u doesn't check. i did many transfer from mbb -> cimb, or to pbb, or ocbc, it's ok

MOST important thing, double check bank account of your recipient.

hehe, you can also use immediate fund transfer to test the bank account, & recipient name will appear, just to make sure bank a/c correct. then cancel the immediate fund transfer so that you don't get charge.

like that, u know bank a/c correct, with no additional $$.
hope it helps.

Is your RHB Online Banking account tied to your Credit Card or Savings/Current Account ?. If it's the former, it may not be possible to perform IBG even you see the Banking account numbers/transactions.
Call them up to enquire.

I think no charges after opening an account for more than 3 or 6 months.

If the IBG transaction is done before 12.30 pm, you get the money the same day:

http://www.bankislam.com.my/en/pages/Inter...IRO.aspx?tabs=6

Since Sept 2013, all banks will credit within 2 hours of clearing:

"Meanwhile, Datuk Abdul Farid Alias, chairman of the Association of Banks in Malaysia, said that the clearing time for funds transfer via IBG would be made faster by the end of this month.

The effort, he said, would see customers’ accounts being credited within two hours of IBG clearing for there would be at least two clearing windows by the end of September 2013. Currently, customers’ accounts are credited anytime before midnight.

“By the end of February 2014, there will be faster fund availability as there will be four clearing windows,” said Abdul Farid, who is also the newly appointed president and CEO of Malayan Banking Bhd.

He said that by the end of next year, IBG payments initiated by customers before 5pm would be credited to the recipients by 10.30pm on the same day. At present, the cut-off time for same-day clearing for IBG was 12.30pm."

Those are new TAT that needs to be implemented by now.

Every bank has its cut-off time.

So far, the fastest I experienced is within 1 working day.

Since Sept 2013, all banks cut off time is 12.30pm and money is in the same day. By next year, cutoff extended to 5 pm. I did an IBG transfer from M2U in the morning and money was in by the afternoon.

No need to keep on repeating. You sounded that I'm an idiot.

I got read that news few months back. I'm not as free as you to be monitoring Maybank2U 24/7.

Every bank has its own cut-off time for the fund to be reached at receiving bank on stipulated time. If fund are being transferred by the cut-off time, fund will reach within the same working day.

Hi. My friend transferred via UOB and CIMB to my Maybank using IBG normal transfer on 5th December but up till now I still don't see the funds in my account (13thDecember). Their system got problem?

Called MBB they cannot checked ask check with sender bank, sender bank called their bank and check they say all successful. Weird.
