This morning (7:30am) I did IBG from Maybank Basic Savings Account to SCB JustOne Current account .. the fund is already in SCB and ready to use when I check at 4pm.
That's amazingly fast !!!  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif
I was expecting the funds available to use either tomorrow morning or late evening
*
I also got fund same day when i did IBG lately between Maybank - Public Bank - CIMB. rclxms.gif
Not promoting Maybank/CIMB, but they have up IBG transaction limit to 10K.
Yey, now i can pay my credit card to OCBC in one go.

My MBB m2u saver account IBG RM2, ish, but ok lah, cos got little bit interest.

Want to ask about foreign TT .
If I want to transfer , let say HKD 5000 to HSBC account in Hong Kong, is it I Put RM 2000 and the bank will convert it for me. (let say RM 1 = HKD 2.5) or I need to convert it myself in HKD and only TT.

Thanks.

I assume you have ringgit account. if yes, bank will convert it when you apply to TT, at their exchange rate.

With effect from 2 May 2013, the service fee for Interbank Funds Transfer (IBG) via PBeBank and PB Mobile has been revised to 10 sen per transaction.

With this reduction in service fee, customers are encouraged to use our electronic channels as the preferred mode of payments instead of cheques.

Got this from Public Bank Online Pbe Website Important Notice.

So does it means from RM 2, they revised it to RM 0.10 already??  smile.gif

yes smile.gif i transferred RM10K from PBeBank to Maybank yesterday evening. Got it by 1pm today yippie. Last time, if do IBG afternoon, only get it next day evening.

Guess that will be the new KPI for IBG.

I remembered it was used to be up to 3 working days.

It's good that the efficiency improved a lot!
*
Komplain to BNM if it's 3 working days. Even after cut-off (most banks 12noon), you should still get $$ by midnight next day. In fact, most banks do by 6pm.
PBB recently extended cut-off time to 12.30noon. I've been using MBB, PBB, CIMB a lot lately, the IBG timing is good.
I did transfer MBB -> PBB at 8pm, by noon next day, PBB already credit. rclxms.gif

I wanted to transfer money from Maybank to CIMB, but there is no enough space to key in the recipient's full name. How? Is it ok if I just key in the front name, without "Bin Md. Ali" behind?
*
Yes, no need full name, m2u doesn't check. i did many transfer from mbb -> cimb, or to pbb, or ocbc, it's ok

MOST important thing, double check bank account of your recipient.

hehe, you can also use immediate fund transfer to test the bank account, & recipient name will appear, just to make sure bank a/c correct. then cancel the immediate fund transfer so that you don't get charge.

like that, u know bank a/c correct, with no additional $$.
hope it helps.
