Yesterday, 28 April, I made transaction from Public Banck(PBe) to my current account on CIMB.
I received the message immediately from Pbe show that my transaction is successful. Only when I want to withdraw from CIMB, there is no money.

1) First time I'm calling Public Bank, the staff stated that the matter will be resolved within 24hours, due to MEPS problem.

2) 2nd time I'm calling after a half day, the staff change the reason, stated there is no problem with MEPS but there is an issue with 'timed out' and told me that there is several same issues happen today.

3) This morning I'm calling again, after 24hours, they said it will need 14 working days to be solved, because there is a problem with system, and the problem with CIMB, but I have already called and verified with CIMB, there is no other issues like that notified to them yesterday.

Aaaa, when can I have my money back, this is so frustrating.

you didnt say you used IBG or Instant Transfer?

assuming IBG, do you know that IBG doesnt work on weekends?

reading 1) and 2), there could be issue with MEPS, hence the fund is floating there. the "14 days" is just the standard SLA number of working days to resolve, it doesnt mean on-the-dot 14 days.


try wait for few more working days (e.g. tomorrow Monday by noon). if no fund received in CIMB by evening, call PBB CS again. not much you can do cuz the money flows from PBB -> MEPS -> CIMB. if there was maintenance with MEPS, the fund could be still floating, hence the transfer would still need to go thru CIMB to complete then transaction or refunded back to source at PBB.

Plus I'm already verified my transaction, they said my transaction is IBTF. The problem only with MEPS, then later they said problem with CIMB.

Guys, beside UOB bank, which bank offer the highest transfer limit?

currently UOB transfer limit can be adjust up to RM250k.

After everyday follow up with public bank, tonight I'm receiving my money back, thank god smile.gif
