Is anyone facing any issue with Hong Leong Connect open 3rd party transfer?

Hi,
First-timer paying credit card bill. There are plenty of questions I would like to ask everyone here for clarification. QUOTE Cash - over the counter - via your credit card issuer's cash deposit machine ^/``MEPS Interbank Funds Transfers (Online) You must have an online banking account linked to either your savings or current account. Please refer to the thread here for the applicable charges. ^You are allowed to transfer only RM5,000/day* from your account through MEPS Interbank Funds Transfers executed online. However, you can increase this limit from the defaulted RM5,000/day to RM40,000 if you bank with HSBC and HSBC is the only bank that offers such high limit in Malaysia.. *The daily maximum IBG limit for both AmBank and UOB Bank is RM10,000. 1) When you pay cash over the counter means you literally go to the bank of issuer's card and pay the bill with cash? And do you need to fill up any kind of form? 2) About the cash deposit machine, all you need is the amount of cash for the payment and the credit card's number right? You do not need to insert any card to pay? (For example, the card payment is from standard charted bank, you go to standard charted bank cash deposit machine, you insert the credit card number then u put the amount of cash, then voila?) |

For more information about Secure2u, you may refer to the Secure2u FAQ here Thank you Secure2u Authentication for RM20,000 Transfers and Successful Transactions to be notified via Push Notifications Dear Valued Customers, Effective 9th June 2018, Maybank will be introducing two new security initiatives aimed to enhance customers' security while performing online banking with Maybank2u: 1) Secure2u authentication is required for transactions with the value of RM20,000 and above. This will be carried out across two phases, with the second phase being for transactions of RM10,000 and above. 2) SMS will be replaced with Push Notification to notify customers on their successful transactions. For the first phase in May, customers will receive the status over SMS and Push Notification at the same time. In Q3 2018, the delivery of SMS will be ceased and customers will receive the status via Push Notifications only. Real-time Retail Payments Platform (RPP) is coming soon. This would enable the transfer of funds to and from bank accounts and e-money accounts in real-time using NRIC or mobile numbers.
What is RPP? http://www.paynet.my/fi-rpp.html Roadmap http://www.paynet.my/fi-rpp/technology-roadmap.html |

QUOTE(mrhseinpingq @ May 23 2018, 02:37 PM) A smart politician won’t do that because it leaves trails. But this is also why BNM is so keen on this electronic payment and electronic transfer initiative. So they can spot it there is any possible money laundering, corruption or even tax evasion. |
