Currently I have OCBC Titanium, Maybankard 2 and Standard Chartered. I'm thinking to get another Citibank Clear card for movie purpose. Is it the best card for movie? Also, is there any card that offer more than 1% cash back for expenses (exclude from petrol, groceries, utilities), eg, car workshop, online shopping etc.

Hi, would like help in which credit card is much suitable for me.
1. Annual Income: 39600 ~ 51600 (Got extra some extra for now) 2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Doesn't matter, as long as below RM100 3. Card required for: Easy Payment Program on gadgets (0% interest), or Flexi Easy Payment, online shopping for games. If can add on for entertainment like movies, and singk. 4. Existing credit cards if any: Maybankard Manchester United Visa Card, CIMB Direct Access 5. Looking at CC from: HLB or RHB or PBB (Cause i got saving accounts on these banks.) However, is up to recommendation if is easier to apply. 6. Others : I don't use card for petrol, I seldom bother about points. Problem i face is my company HR is outsource to a payroll company, so can i apply but phone put to payroll company? But they pick up calls, they always say their company name 1st. Hope can get reply, thanks. |

EDIT: isn't the UOB card similiar to Citi's card? Ya, They Both Have Similar Cash Rebate Feature... But UOB One Platinum Better becoz, the Citibank CB only credit the cash back earned once you reach RM50 & If the cash rebate is LESS than RM50 for a particular month, the total cash rebate amount will be carried forward to the following month... Whereas UOB credit the cash back monthly into the account.... |

1. Annual Income: RM36k
2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferably yes. i'm forgetful. 3. Card required for: repair cars, buy furnitures at ikea, groceries (not specific but major supermarkets), buy gadgets, buy computer parts. 4. Existing credit cards if any: none. 5. Looking at CC from: any, but prefer Standard Chartered or Citibank or RHB. 6. Others: Looking for cards that offer easy payment plan that doesn't tie up with merchants e.g. after i make purchase i can just simply call the bank to divide the payment in 6, 12 or 24 months. Also, if can, low interest. Oh, and NO to any AMEX-based card, it's a taboo for my family. This post has been edited by cloudstrife07: Jul 9 2013, 02:28 AM |
