Your income range is rather large. But if you meet the requirement for OCBC Ti, you may want to look into its benefits. 5% for all petrol brands, groceries, dining and utilities cap at RM50 per statement month. Other transactions gives 1%. Annual fee is waived for 12 swipes.

Ya, but monthly rebate max capped at RM30 for UOB One Card.
Like what Human Nature said, OCBC Titanium is better as long annual income over RM36,000.

For Petrol get OCBC Titanium MasterCard and earn 5% at any petrol stations and for Dining, Groceries, Utility and Telco bills too. If you pump at Esso or Shell on Saturdays and Sundays only, then Maybankard 2 Cards American Express can earn you extra 5% on top of 5X Treats Points (applicable 365 days a year). Click below link to read more about Cash Back Cards.

http://generationsxyz.blogspot.com/p/cash-back.html

For Paypal, I am not too sure. There are some that uses the Maybankard 2 Amex card on Saturday and Sunday to earn 5% cash back. IF your paypal in RM, then maybe ok to use MBB 2 AMEX, BUT in foreign currency like USD, do note that you may be charge up to 3% with AMEX cards. Go search for Paypal at MBB Thread ( including past V1 to V3) or ask there. Click below link.

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2248196

But the AMEX 5% cash back is capped at RM50 a month or RM1K spending. Anyway, for your info, Maybank MasterCard overseas conversion rate is among the lowest. So if you apply for the MBB 2 Cards, still can use the MBB 2 MasterCard and earn 1X TP and pay less in conversion. Try and compare with PBB Debit and see if they are any savings in conversion rate.

If they accept MBB 2 AMEX, then you can earn 5X TP.

If they don't accept AMEX cards, you may want to consider getting HSBC Visa Signature where you do earn 10X and 5X points for hotels and dining overseas with T&C. Click below to read more about the card. Annual Income requirement RM100K but you can try and apply if you think you can benefit from it.

My bad for not reading carefully. For Domestic use I guess Maybankard 2 Cards AMEX teh best. For meals OCBC Titanium MAsterCard. OR if the hotels do not accept AMEX and you spend 2K to 5K, consider getting the Alliance Plat Card and earn up to 2% cash back.

I'm waiting for the appeal on the OCBC TiMC, it got rejected. Applied that before I sent in application for M2.

Now sent in additional documents to prove that my company did change name -.-'.

Added on April 17, 2012, 8:52 am@Gen-X, well that rebates of 2% doesn't look interesting because it's tiered.
I am reading through the application form and they explained. Alliance bank's website isn't very informative as well. Thanks though.

Need help. Too confusing. So many table and charts sleep.gif. I heard ocbc titanium is the best in terms of cash back rewards. And free for life. And gov waiver also. Like totally no drawback. Is this the best card?

Before you request a recommendation, please post the followings:

1. Annual Income: RM24K to RM30K or RM30K to RM36K or RM36K to RM48K or RM48 to RM60K or RM60K-RM100K or and RM100K and above or leave blank.
RM100K and above

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must or No only.
Must have free for life

3. Card required for: List all your needs. Example Petrol, Education, Cash Back/Rebate Only, AirMiles, Overseas Transactions, Free LCCT Lounge Access , Golf, etc or Don't Know.
Cash back. Most of the time I don't know what I'll use it for (maybe everything also). Mostly for bills and petrol and weekend entertainment.

4. Existing credit cards if any: List them or Nil.
None from Malaysia.

5. Preferred Bank or Considering CC from banks: List the Banks or List the card(s).
No preference. must have online banking. Coz I might not be around to pay physically

6. Others: Please be specific. Example: I am a foreigner or I only want to pay amount due with my M2U online savings account or I want cash back only and no reward points.
Malaysian working in singapore. Wants a credit card for use in malaysia to avoid conversion fees with my sg credit card.

7. Estimated Spending per month with the card: Less than RM1K or RM1K to RM5K or RM10K and above
Probably less than 1k.
