Is it possible for you to add landscape orientation support for Viber?

I just switched from a HTC Wildfire S to a HTC ChaCha and I notice that Viber insists on a vertical orientation which is annoying to use on the ChaCha.

First, please specify what device & Android version you're running, and also whether or not you're using a Custom ROM or not.

Viber should already support Landscape on Viber's Messaging screen. If you mean landscape mode for the whole app, then it's something we're working on these days, but we are not sure exactly when it will be ready. Stay tuned for updates and news.

to update on my previous issue where the app hangs for a while when going to 'messages' or 'viber','all' in contacts. this bug is gone in the latest app! thanks for fixing this! this is one of my biggest gripe with the previous update, as the update before that was a smooth sail.

have not tested audio quality yet, would report back my finding later on smile.gif

The message mix-up is a known issue to us and we've figured out the source of the problem.
We are working on a fix this very moment, and we hope to release a fixed version soon.

We got a similar report from another user from Sri Lanka. Please try registering with a different number in order to see if this is a specific problem, and if it still doesn't work, please contact your provider and see what they have to say about it.

@CuriOu5 -
If both sides have the latest version of Viber installed, this message should not appear. The reason for this message is the fact that 2 different voice engines are installed on old-new versions, and sometimes they can't communicate with each other.

@lowlock -
Viber only provides service between 2 Viber users that are connected to the internet. In any other case, the call is simply switched to be a regular, cellular call.

I have tried both, between those two, I find that Viber has a much better audio quality (noise cancellation etc)

I tried with 4 different no's ( 3 different providers) and the problem remains, i'm on Dialog Axiata ( service provider) a lot of my friends use Viber ( on I-Phones) but the problem is only for me..i will speak to my service provider and check as well

Viber can only work when both Viber users are connected to the internet somehow (WiFi or 3G).

If you're offline and someone tries to call or text you, you will see a Missed Call notification when you go back online, and you'll see the Viber text message (it will arrive at your phone only when you're back online).

would like to update my experience with the latest Viber. made a few calls to my friends in China and there is no more jitter or lagginess in the call! and this is only on screamyx 1mb. so thumbup.gif to the Viber team!

Ok ... so Viber works best if one is on contract, have unlimited 3G service.

Do you know how much MB of data plan will be used when we make calls via Viber? For example, 200MB can last for how long?
