@TSOM -
Viber uses about 0.25MB per minute of call, and usually less than 1KB per text message.
@spetnaz -
Hmm... interesting.
Receiving the confirmation code is unfortunately only possible when registering with a "real" phone number. Meaning she can use a local real phone number where she is at, use pre-paid, or even use your help to receive the SMS/phone call with the code in your home country.
But this is only a temporary workaround, let's try to find the source of the problem.
You mean the deactivation itself happens ONLY when she's abroad? If she uses Viber on that Tablet for weeks in her home country, the problem never occurs?
Is she running a Custom ROM on her device?
Yes the deactivation happens only when she's abroad. Viber works before this while she was in China & Vietnam. The problem started on her recent trip to vietnam last 2 week. A day before her trip, we did test at home and confirmed that viber is working fine.
I'm sure that i've updated the viber when prompted to do so in the android market before the trip. Could the update was the culprit?
The Galaxy Tab is still with stock rom and unrooted. FYI, my wife only know how to use the tab. All settings, activation, rooting (other phones) is done by me
