It's not one of our officially supported devices, but as far as we know Viber works just fine on Galaxy Note. Try it out and let me know if you experience any problems

yes, it works... save for the the low volume issue. i know a few users who are using viber on note. myself included...

but viber... you guys really need to speed up development of new features. getting a bit tired of waiting for functions like group chat...

ICS announced in 19 October; Current version Viber available in market is 2.1.2.116554 & last updated is October 12, 2011. We're understand that Viber will not release in half bake next version but Viber would like to ensure the stability and full functional as mentioned or explain before in this thread.

But it's already no update since October last year (3 months+), taking too long develop time might not acceptable; We're appreciate if Viber development team able to ramp up and expedite on some new features request, compatibility fix for certain phone model & ICS of course. else, maybe estimated timeline commit will be great.

Our development team is working around the clock to complete it ASAP. We apologize for the delay, but it's important to understand that it's delayed because we want to ensure that the app is released free of bugs. We should have an official announcement regarding Viber for ICS soon

when will it be coming to windows phone?

We don't know yet. There are some technological barriers (some are due to our limited resources, some are due to Windows Phone's VoIP restrictions) that we're still trying to overcome.

I have an Xperia Arc handset. I tried making a call through Viber. It works fine on loudspeaker and the in-built speakers of the phone but when I tried using the original handsfree that comes with the phone, I can hear my friend clearly but my friend can barely hear me. Does anyone else face this issue or it is a hardward failure?

check back the past 2-3 pages... galaxy users are complaining of low volume issue. viber said there's a potention fix in their next update for this.
