bros, have you all ever experience even though connected thru packet data but somehow no data coming in. have to off it then on again then suddenly all the updates n email start coming in?? sometimes eventhough connected then suddenly the H+, 3G logo disappear n no more connection. on n off the data connection a few times only come back up. I currently using stock rom, not rooted yet...

ya, i get that once in a while. i suspect in the 3g case, it could be carrier/ network issue.

but i've also experienced this on wifi. need to off and on before data comes thru again. this one... i suspect more of a phone thingy. i posted before but no one answered. so thought maybe just unlucky me.

i'm on maxis..so now i am a bit sceptical..once in a while i will open the browser check check if connection is still on

i m on digi. but again, for 3g, i do sometimes suspect more the network than phone coz i'm usually in the building/ office. so could be weaker signal, inteference, etc...

but wifi... i noticed that at one time when i had power saving function on. i'm still monitoring it and have turned off power saving.

I noticed that on CF's KG2 kernel has the yellowish tint while on KG1 it was fine. Doesn't really bother me but just wanna share this.

my gps locked straight away after i turn it on. even in my house. i turn on papago, then turn on gps and then straight away without delay, "voice navigation start". no need for fast fix whatsoever.

will the s2 burn if charge and use gps at the same time when traveling?

Just choose it as wifi hotspot in settings/Wireless Network/Tether & Portable hotspot : portable WiFi
This however will drain your battery by at least 10 % /hour and unit will be warmer than normal : 40 to 45 =degree

I've always got connection problem when using Maxis with SGSII but none with Nokia. So i change and use Maxis for Nokia while using DiGi for SGSII.

Maybe it's just a setting, maybe it'a the phone or maybe it could be a network problem, i dont know but when i change it everything good. Now no problem whatsoever. :-P

Just enter *#301279#* and turn off HSUPA (choose revision 5). It STILL happens, but much less often.

Anyone here using the original SGS2 car holder/dock ? any feedback like can it dock with SGS2 with thick casing ? is damn expensive at RM189 and most shop have run out of stock.

rm189 for a car holder, it's really too high for me. wouldn't even give it a second thought cause phone normally dun have long shell life. unless can use for other phone next time...
