Flashed to Chainfire's KG2 Kernel, haven't noticed any differences compared to KG1. Now waiting for VR to come out with a KG2 ROM.
CM7 can wait, i rather try it out when its more stable |

QUOTE(selphy @ Jul 19 2011, 09:37 PM) Bugeca is correct. The CF Root KG2 at present now is for KG2 roms that are Android 2.3.3 based, including the kernels. The only CF Root for Android 2.3.4 available now is KG1. Your Android maybe 2.3.4 but chances are it is running a 2.3.3 based kernel thx for the info. My kernel version is 2.6.35.7-I9100JPKG2. How do u see if its 2.3.3 or 2.3.4?This post has been edited by Assclown: Jul 19 2011, 09:43 PM |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Jul 21 2011, 05:05 PM) Put your SGS2 on your bed near your pillow, somewhere it can measure your movement (on Airplane mode if you're one of those "argh it will give me kanker" types) and it will use the accelerometer to measure your movement while you sleep, comparing that to a database of movement to determine you're in normal or deep sleep phases (like your cpu lol - everyone is hard to wake while they are in deep sleep). Hopefully u don't roll over and sleep on the phone or even fling the phone out of bed. It will trigger the alarm when you are the easiest to wake - normal phase somewhere near your determined alarm time (if you set 6.30 am, it will might trigger 6.00-6.30, depending on when you're in normal sleep phase). Sounds dubious but it really does work, for me anyway. YMMV though. Also, it does NOT work if you go to sleep at 6 hoping to wake up at 6.30 lol, it's NOT magic. |

I noticed that on CF's KG2 kernel has the yellowish tint while on KG1 it was fine. Doesn't really bother me but just wanna share this.

To my knowledge, I could only re-arrange apps in the app drawer. But can one re-arrange the apps in a folder?

does anyone know where I can get a MHL Adaptor which doesn't require it to be connected to an external charger? Meaning that the cable/adaptor itself provides charge from the TV
