QUOTE(gerrardling @ Jul 20 2011, 09:42 PM) Is the number recorded on your phone is 0123456789 then the number calling is +60123456789? Maybe can try add +6 to that contact... Or not maybe some call settings that you'll need to alter, can ask other SGS2 users here... Mine SGS2 still on the way... QUOTE(AliG @ Jul 23 2011, 08:43 PM) I bought my S2 from SenQ and as part of the package I was offered RM90 for a 16 GB Kingston microSD card. Ok, here how it works... 16GB = 160000000000B - This is normal math but the calculations towards the GB in our pc/phone goes by the binary code law.I installed the card, but when I went to the Setting->Storage, I saw under SD card my TOTAL space only 14.89 GB!! Can anyone explain what has happened? I have also moved several apps from the phone memory to SD card, when I went to Setting->Applications->Memory Usage, I saw that indeed under "On SD card", it displayed the apps I have just moved. However, at the very bottom of the screen there is this green color bar and it says SD card storage: 11GB free, 188 MB used. Wow... so now I lost another 3GB of SD card memory?? Furthermore, when I used the default file explorer (My Files) and browse to 'external_sd', I don't see files inside. Can someone please explain to me how all these things work? Thanks Ali Binary code = 1 or 0 only, so the nearest number that it can get towards 1000 is 2 power 10, which is 1024. And hence: 1KB = 1024B, so 160000000000B = 15625000KB Again 1MB = 1024KB, so 15625000KB = 15258.78906MB And again 1GB = 1024MB, so 15258.78906MB = 14.90116119GB which almost same amount as 14.89GB that you see on your phone... QUOTE(waveweaver @ Jul 23 2011, 10:39 PM) Bought it from a small phone assoceries shop near ampang. Price for 32GB is RM230 and that price nearly come to 3pcs of 16GB card. That i have no idea... maybe you can check for the model/serial no. online or something... At the end i bought one 16GB and one battery. Only problem is i dont know how to check if this battery is original or not. Any idea.? |

That guy bluff one la, how he know the situations of the Samsung factory worldwide, it's not that he know the Plant Manager/Production Manager... QUOTE(un_id @ Jul 25 2011, 01:38 PM) can anyone recommend any reliable brand of microSD? It's impossible to differentiate between a genuine and a fake one visually, but you can confirm it by using H2Testw software. It will try to write as much data as it shows on your card to ensure you get what you see on the label... From that software also you can test for the Write/Read speed... So for a class 10, your card should be able to have a 10MBPS write speed or +/-... As for pricing, i've just bought a DNA 32GB class 10 last week for RM199, while i saw Patriot 32GB class 10 selling around RM290... choices between Sandisk, Kingmax, Kingston, DNA..and does class 10 works as fast as they should be? and how to differentiate between genuine and fake microSD? coz so many ppl selling, price range is also very huge, some cheaper and other too exp.. |

QUOTE(stevenryl86 @ Jul 28 2011, 12:38 AM) Wow~! Ok, i dun need to get a SP anymore... QUOTE(naTTan @ Jul 28 2011, 01:40 AM) Hmm i don't think class 10 sdcard show much of an improvement Well, the class ranking works by their write speed...Read is at 23 MB Write is 12 MB what are the speed for class 4 and 6? Class 10 = 10+/-MBPS write speed Class 6 = 6+/-MBPS write speed Class 4 = 4+/-MBPS write speed While the read speed, almost for all sorts of cards that i've tested, all would be around 20+/-MBPS Wanna see the difference? Try copying an huge file (Like 2-4GB?) into cards of different class then time them... |
