For HP Dv6-6001Tx without beats@RM3k, find this guy: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&hl=marcus20125

Well, do take note that Asus comes with 2 years international warranty; whereas HP only one (unless you want to fork out some more money to extend the warranty)...
The choice is pretty obvious lol...
Performance - Dv6
Warranty - N55Sf

and since HP has decided to quit its PC business.. its hard to say what the future holds laugh.gif

Well, for starters, the stock AMD 6630 has some problems playing The Sims 3 doh.gif
And Bacon will ask you each time you start a new game/ software on whether you want to use the dedicated GPU or integrated one... the thing is, its supposed to remember the settings so the next time you open the game/ software, it won't ask you again... but the time I tried, Bacon seemed to "forget" my settings, so its rather annoying laugh.gif
But that was quite some time ago, hopefully the problem has been solved already

Okay, but just to confirm, hp dv6114tx has no known problems or issues with its parts or software? Maybe i'll go with hp after all as i've had no problems with maintaining my gadgets in good conditions all along.

And what might be the consequences of hp quitting its pc business on hp consumers?

Very unlikely for HP to sell off the whole division. They're one of the top 5 in the world sleep.gif

Nope laugh.gif
Closest would be the Lenovo Y570 with slightly poorer GPU performance, and a slightly lower resolution screen. haha
The i5 variant of the N55sf is worth it imho if you're okay with the design  laugh.gif

How was the design, it looks OK for me.

Its not essential laugh.gif
Its not even useful if you don't often transfer alot of large files in between your laptop and external HDD laugh.gif
