black mirror is a brilliant british show. its limited episode, only 6 episodes so far, but basically i love all of it. its kinda a show that 'make your brain working', not just pure entertainment..
So far my favorite episode is "Be Right Back". Very "Her" but more expansive in terms of the story structure. Hope season 3 will air later this year.

cant decide which one is my favorite, but the very first episode (the british pm and the princess kidnapping) really set the tone for me, ''ah, this really my type of tv series..''. less favorite probably the one with foul mouth caricature stand in the election.
i always love twilight zone type, black mirror basically an upgrade with more depth.. relevant to nowadays techno -obsessive society..

Quite amazing pilot episode. Plot sets up several months after Arrow Season 2 Short recap from pre-Flash scenes at the beginning....The pace felt just right for the 1st ep... Feel like watching short movie
+Stephen Amell Green Arrow cameo Though this one is quite different from Arrow series
Guess this will be in my watch list~ Hope they keep up the same pace for the rest of the episodes
Already watched 1st eps.. quite interesting.. will continue watching..
The plots may be predictable in the coming episodes, after seeing Revolution, TWD... but, like my son said, if it gets boring, we'll stop just like we did for Glee!

I have never read Ira Levin novel, though I have watched the Rosemary's Baby (1968) movie.
The movie took place in New York city, and this mini series occurs in Paris, France.
In the movie, Rosemary's psyche is being question. (Eg. is she delusional??) where as in the mini series, that is place out of the door and things that go bump in the night is never questioned (at least not in the first part)
Also in the movie, Rosemary is very isolated, where in the mini series, things are more... lacking a better term, "tactile"...
The cast is stellar in the mini series,
Zoe Saldana as Rosemary Patrick J. Adams (of Suits fame) as Guy Woodhouse (surprising casting actually) Carole Bouquet as Margaux Castevet Jason Isaacs as Roman Castevet
I have only watched the first part and is looking forward to watching the second part tonite.
an ok pilot. i thought the corpse turn to zombie. conventional death, at least its refreshing than many post apocalypse zombies movies /series. its like wwz without a zombies.
the picture quite good, quite big budget for tv production.. will follow the series, though i doubt it'll be a big hit..
Just finished watching the pilot of Tyrant and i'm totally hooked. This got the godfather feel to it as well having the top notch homeland production value all over it. Loving the cast and performances so far. Can't wait for EP2.
Also watched The last ship over the weekend and it's really campy. Acting is stiff and some scenes offends common sense. I'll pass on this one.

Tyrant is quite ok, downsides are it has the typical american family - someone always has the "American biatch syndrome" but this time it's the son, and also an annoying wife. but all my wish come true - the father biatch slapping that gay son of his, totally makes my day!

Not one but the two slaps and it was epic! You could almost feel the homo being slapped outta him lol. Not that i have anything against gay but that scene really stunned me in a good way But yeah, the family is another typical naive american family - almost a carbon copy of Brody's family in Homeland with the addition of the gay son. I think they are supposed to resemble or at least loosely based on the Syrian Asaad family.
Also out last week is HBO's Leftovers pilot. Series based on rapture i think ? It's kinda decent but not entirely mindblowing - didn't feel like it gripped me or left me wanting for more, but hopefully ep 2 will pick up the pace.
And Recitfy season 2 is up and already 2 eps in. I enjoyed it and glad it's been extended to 10 eps this season.

that warm and fuzzy feeling when you hear those 2 whacks is so comforting! just like when Tyrion slaps Joffrey, they really should make a loop video with this and put it in youtube. and if you see your dad has a serious look on his face when he tells you to do something out of the ordinary, u should KNOW that shiat's going to hit da fan!
