Perception seems to copy some of the acts of the closer formula after watching the 1st episode, later there also the prime crime which is a spin off of the closer where the closer is ending soon

just watched Political Animals.
some of the sex scenes were unnecessary imo. Sigourney Weaver was great though.
feel that she quite stiff or might be uncomfortable when she tried to be intimate

seen the hunted pilot very boring, though there would be agenda later & question on creepy assassins, possible mole on the team, Aidan Marsh’s secret meetings with an unknown woman, Sam’s flashbacks about the death of her mother yet to be answer
find most of the cast acting quite monotonous & boring

supernatural seems dragging too long for me and currently looking for an action + great stroyline series. any recommendation?
from my understanding - supernatural means anything always possible under the roof of supernatural conditions which are endless & unpredictable, most likely it is the characters that are getting boring to watch unless more newer ones are to introduce to liven up the show & more newer special effects are introduce with new interesting happenings ; when compare to once upon a time which is more toward fairy tales are more dragging, but newer characters are introduce with new happenings to renew viewers interest in the show now manage to season 2 though one can really feel the relevancy of these new characters against the show's title
Person Of Interest, now into season 2 ; It is based on a screenplay developed by J. J. Abrams and Jonathan Nolan.[1] The series revolves around a former CIA agent (Jim Caviezel of "Passion of Christ") recruited by a mysterious billionaire (Michael Emerson of "Lost") to prevent violent crimes in New York City - got alot of twist and turn if don't mind the male lead who can never die from ridiculous captures & gun fires

Person of Interest S2 the system are super intelligent, meh.. cheesy action, the bad guys always a bad shooter.. i think i'll drop it..
gave up since episode 1 - a ridiculous show where the hero would never die under ridiculous captures & gun-fires so as to spice up the excitement of the show ; do the plot really needed such a ridiculous hero or just a more tone down version of such a hero would be more balance
QUOTE(dundermifflin @ Sep 23 2012, 07:32 AM)
watched The Mob Doctor pilot. i think i like it.. a doctor /surgeon living a 2 lives, normal doctor life and working for a mob to pay her family's debt. up against rules and her superior. but i doubt the series getting any better..
the internet reviews had been very unfair towards this series & the rating was very poor, maybe people felt that such show got nothing special in term of great storyline when compared to other series ; suspect there might be possible changes to this series to jackup viewership or completely drop dead
QUOTE(dundermifflin @ Sep 21 2012, 07:32 AM)
im not convinced with Revolution. as a comparison for same genre, i think it poorer than The Walking Dead and Falling Skies (both i think are very average)
gave up this series since episode 1, poor main cast acting & the flow of show was slowed ; but there was rumoured zombie or other species could be introduce later if necessary ???
Canadian series Primeval: New World, which is the spin – off series from the hit UK series Primeval, premier in Canada on October 29 and in England will be airing in late 2012, but have yet to confirm an official date, .Syfy will be airing the series in 2013
star Niall Matter (Eureka), Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries) and Danny Rahim (Young James Herriot) as a team of animal experts and scientists investigating paranormal events, while battling both prehistoric and futuristic creatures
arrow - interesting pilot with good acting & exciting actions from the male lead but the hero is always a lucky one when comes to fighting & gun fires ; wonder did he clean off his finger prints on the arrows for the police to trace when he kills. it is a silly way to commit crimes by killings to bring justice which would casue him unnecessary consequences, but for pure entertainment it is still worh to watch for now & not forgetting lots of queries of what happens during that 5 years himself & his family & his related friends in which everyone got their stories
Chicago Fire - very average & more to routine type , would very likely to skip
Nashville - quite average especially if like country music or else can be boring
Beauty and the Beast - quite average but main cast ok & the flow of the show ok though there are logical loops, it is romance plus adventure with the male lead against the odds ; likely to continue but the rating seems very low
