Why don't use 0 installment payment via credit card? Shop will charge you 2-5%. Just swipe full and dont tell them you going for 0 interest. Swipe already, walk off and call bank and tell them change to 0% installment. The shop will bear the 2-5% charges then smile.gif

Of course, call bank earlier to inform them that you are going to do so... rclxms.gif

Please don't give people wrong advise / incomplete advise which will end up somebody paying more for fees.
For conversion to EPP after the purchase is made, bank will 99.99% charge you fees depending on the bank + duration of EPP. Plus not all banks/cards offer EPP conversion. For EPP purchase, banks do charges some extra fees to the merchant. However, in my opinion this is a business cost and should be borne by the merchant and not pass on to the consumer. Walk away if they do this and don't justify it just because you don't have cash to buy the phone.

I don't advocate paying the merchant more than the product price as the fees should be borne by them. However, this is a hot phone / item and like any Malaysian merchant love to do - is to take advantage of the consumer.

BTW ... just some facts the S2 (NFC) version is selling for USD1258 over at the Duty Free area in Sheraton Seoul. I was like shocking.gif . Don't know who will buy it at that price.

O.O really? Hmm...dunno lo that cos I even went to the branch to ask since I got some errants to do. The manager said client just pay full amount but no extra charges. Called the call centre also they say the same.

Also, that's why I say better call bank ask first before anything. For me, if can save why not. As I do not have like A-Z bank so I can't confirm on that but for the bank I am using pretty sure lo.

Anyway, not to start a debate but just trying to point out some things that...could meant alot for others biggrin.gif

Depends on how you ask your bank ... but I won't debate that. And if you are not sure ... for whatever reason please be careful when you are giving advise which have impact on money / fees / etc. Excuse for you don't have the list ... well anyone who reads your post and suddenly have to bear the fees ... are you going to compensate them or walk away ?

The so called no extra charges would mean that the bank impose a once off fee to the consumer on top of the monthly installment which has been divided equally to the period that the consumer choose. No additional charges throughout the installment period. As the EPP fees was originally meant to be charged to the merchant, now the bank charges it to the consumer.

Hey, for those who are running Asphalt 6 HD, do you guys encounter graphical glitch in the game? (i.e : when the NOS is activated, the trail behind the car is shown in polygon lines. Same as the sun ray)

Kies Air works without the need of any internet connection. As long as your PC and your phone is connected to the same wifi router, you can use it.

Guy, need to run a survey so help me out a bit if possible... tongue.gif
1. What's your current used memory space vs free memory space in your phone memory?
2. Do you use an external microSD memory for your phone? Reason for it?
2a. What's the brand, speed class and the capacity of your external microSD memory?

guys i cant seem to find this anywhere so i decided to ask here, lcd to suffer damage from heat right, what about amoled then? because when im charging, the phone tends to get warmer, not hot but warm and since my room i air-conditioned, there would be a shift in cold and warm frequently, so does amoled suffer damage from heat or sudden changeift of temperature between cold and hot? thank you rclxub.gif

Another question after playing around with the K9 Mail, does it has no Push function as in the stock email client for Outlook Exchange? Only can set the Folder Polling period?

Basically what I wish to get is, the mail will automatically go to my phone. Normally, when using the stock email client, the mail will go to my phone first, then only my laptop. But when I set the Polling period in K9 mail to 1min, kind of like mail already go into my laptop, and I wouldn't get it in my phone.

Any solution to this? Or I miss some setting somewhere? TQ

ok, another topic... from what i understand from pg1, the charging port on sgs2 is actually microUSB, correct? i tried plugging in the cable from my external harddisk and it didn't seem to be able to go in...
* was i being to gentle?

asking partly coz i noticed my Asus TF charger is actually a 2 piece charger (1 pc is the adapter/ charger that connects to the wall 3pin socket and 1 is a USB to proprietary ASUS port). it's stated as 2.1A on the adapter. so... can i find a usb to microusb (assuming the port on sgs2 is microusb) and use that to charge the phone?

i think benny88 mentioned he uses the kensington car charger (or sth like that). i checked out the link before and it shows a adapter (for the car cigarette point) with what looks like a usb port.

just wondering... so at least if i travel, i can reduce the number of things to carry... smile.gif
*
hmmm... i just remembered i get a 'usb' cable together with phone... should be safe to connect that to my TF and charge the phone? smile.gif

Hi mhhee,

Are you already a plusone member under Sengheng? If not, need to pay the RM12 in order to get the price you got for the phone right?
*
Yes. required to be Sen Heng member to entitled the discount.

One thing to be funny about... They charged me extra RM50 at the first & caused me to turn back to them for the rebate. blush.gif

Then, later at night they called me again said less RM50 charged to my account... doh.gif

No choice, tonite have to go back to pay the RM50 for them... I also didn't realized. Think I have the bad math as them...
