well,i really don't know how you guys define "FAST".i just wanna make a comparison between cars that are relatively fast like stated benz and a4.BRO don't misunderstood.
*
bro it's in a different league lah those cars... cannot compare just solely based on speed...and putting a $$ value to it by saying why a 135k car beating a 250k car.. coz for e.g. the audi, merc, bmw all are built with a lot of other aspects in mind... including speed smile.gif

some people say that polo gti is a fast car.so by making such comparison.it allows me to imagine how fast the car would be.there's no intention to compare cars from different segment.

it's fast lah dude... pickup for such a small n light car... but that is probably measured on a drag / straight road lah ... in terms of overall performance i've read fr other GTI owners who went to test drv it... said still the golf GTI might outperform the polo on corners and handling ...

anyone booked the Polo GTI so far? any idea which bank offers the best rate for a 9 year loan? was quoted 2.5-2.6% by RHB and 2.5-2.7% by Affin.

heard that most VW buyers got their loan from Affin. not sure how true is that.

anyone got better rates?

eh Yan, u kautim 2.0 oredi arr? looking back at thread that uve demoded your roc.

as for polo gti, if you like it, go for it...for those fat asses, go buy golf (like me smile.gif)

if you dun mind cramp cabin go for polo gti. Although the commendable bhp of the Polo GTi is much greater (in every sense mechanical terms), if i would to choose, cabin comfort would come first before performance. Thats why Ive chosen a 'slower' ride.

I have a polo. It's like the perfect first car. Not too expensive, and totally worth the price.

Can you justify your statement a little more? What exactly makes VW snobbish? Is it because they can only deliver early next year? If so I don't think it's fair to blame VWM for that, they have no control over vehicle production output.

My experience with VW so far has been excellent, from the first time I walked into their show room to the first time I stepped into the service center. Only complaint is they take a little too long to service your car.
*
Wow finally one good reply from a owner of a VW in Malaysia. I wonder what u paid them to have this kind of service biggrin.gif

QUOTE(ben83 @ Aug 28 2011, 06:11 PM)
Sadly such wonderful experience of yours did not experienced by myself as well as many more members in this thread.

And on the bolded part, that alone without improvement for almost a year now is not VGM fault? Remember on early 2011 GTI buyers ended up not able to get the SE version? In addition the Polo GTI test drive for VIP only, all this are not good enough being justified as being snobbish?
*
Aiks...no improvement at all over a year..terrible. No written complains to VGM about this?

I agree...Polo GTI is a fast small car....n that's it. A fast small car. Mostly used by bachelors or as a weekend/second car. Try using it as a family car and u'll b in trouble. That's where cars like Audi or Merc comes in...its a fast family car...put 4 adults with luggage n its still fast + comfort smile.gif

probably will be.

this event was so poorly managed or there was a communication breakdown?

SA told me to go either sat/sun.
i got special invites so can park at vip area then test drive the polo gti there.

when i reach there the parking boys told me my tickets only for normal area gotta park elsewhere then another group told me it is ok if i am invited by the showroom just register.

after register and park i started to walk in, again i was stopped at a gate told me my tickets for normal area and they gotta check here and there before letting me in.

by the time i walked in (no buggy wanna fetch me) it feels like the event is over. not many people around. the staff just lurking around like its 30mins from going home and i reach there at 2pm!

told me to test drive gotta go register.

then i walked up and register. then they said...OH ur showroom is not for today but u can register now....after register no coupon for test drive and also no goodie bag.

i was like f**k it then went over to see the porsche side....then left the event area. drove in to the normal grand stand area to see whats going on there.

like a ghost town!

warms my heart when i saw two rocco's crashed before 2 laps.....i guess that is the quality of this race/car rolleyes.gif

the sa whom attended me was good bnot good.ut i think overall feeling for this badge is not good.
